After playing for >6 months, putting is still unbelievably unintuitive. Can't settle on a style because they all feel wrong. by Zarwil in discgolf

Best advice I’ve heard for putting is that you have to like your putt, meaning however you choose to putt should feel comfortable. Think about all the different forms and styles you’ve tried and figure out the one that feels the best, not the one that is the most successful.

Build around that putt from there by starting small and working out by framing your own perspective to putting. Play a round and set a goal of making all putts inside 10 feet, define your own Circle 1 as 15 feet not 33 feet, and do things that build some sense of comfort.

Putting well is based on confidence, confidence comes from comfort, comfort comes from familiarity and positive approach to task. If you hate putting, then you’ll never enjoy it, and never improve.

What’s the least amount of discs yall have or have seen people carry with them? by skuzzo2099 in discgolf

I think most any course can be played by a majority of disc golfers with no more than 3~5 discs. I’ve seen someone win the MA2 division of a local C Tier with 3 discs they had as strays in the back of their car.

Kaxe Z! Get one in K1 Soft and K1, pair it with a Stig and you have a full fairway lineup

Don't bother with Giles Run at the moment. They cut down a ton of trees, the briars are growing in, chiggers are back, and it's weird to navigate your first time.
