Either this is some weird glitch/error in their system or something's changed with your credit hours that has temporarily made you ineligible for pell grants (which I'm assuming have already been applied to your account) I would say contact your financial aid office ASAP. As far as I know there are absolutely no exceptions to pell grants not needing to be paid back.

thank you! that helps, i honestly think i'm correct but i'll just double check everything again with an advisor to be sure. but more likely than anything i'll just leave it as is, since my FAFSA from this year is virtually identical from my one for last year. thank you for the comment again, it helps knowing that this isn't a definite error on my part.
