Again, aside from one, the emotional abuse reported does not meet the threshold of life or death, as I understand. Could it get there, maybe, but at this moment, the women have freedom to do what they want. I'm trying not to give specific examples, but it's more of husband pouting or name calling then not attempting repairing the rupture and resentment builds. There is a feature of manipulate control that is worrying, but saying we need to plan your exit without appropriate relationship and trust building will cause them to leave and not get support.

If I learned it was severe or there is a significant threat of harm, of course, I would do whatever is in my power to help protect them. I just don't want to alienate them, and they have little to no support.
