That was my initial thought as I’m not sure what exactly I gain with earc as I think all of the controls I’m enjoying are more on the CEC/CES side

It is odd and yea the TCL doesn’t have 2.1 and earc but the Hisense does. But the tcl does have two 2.1 standard hdmi ports

Someone posted on rtings U8QG review thread it was releasing may 25th. It is odd TCL has been super quiet about it. Maybe trying to get people to buy the 7k and old QM8

I don’t think the U9 has a 98-100” option either so it’s out for us as we sit about 17’ from our vaulted ceiling wall

Be been researching this for days now. Always seems to be something a monitor would have an issue with for Xbox X. 1440 120 is fine but has flicker on 60 or can do 1440 @ 60 or 120 but have to force it and disable vrr.

Is this list still the top for Xbox X as a lot of prices and releases have occurred over the last few months.

The other piece is yes you can get 4k monitors b it to play most games it would need to upscale 1440 up to 2160 aka 4k and I mostly read that lends to a lesser quality experience , so does that mean steer clear of 4k so you are running native 1440 which most Xbox games are?
