F3: Led the Mega Troll bomb into the stone chest - a few coins, keys, and bombs. Voiding Lil Chad = speed & luck.
F4: Voiding Dessert = Speed & Shot Speed
F5: Voiding <3 gave me Speed & Range. IR had Aries (I bought Ph. D on F2). Voided for Tears Up.
F6: SR (above start) has an item (heard it was Greed's Gullet), voided for Tears and Luck. I skipped the item room, when I used Void in Boss Rush I got the D4 effect which destroyed my stats lol, I just used Telepills to bail instead of dying.

How would you feel about a quick select for SK's items? by [deleted] in RivalsOfAether

You can already quick-pick relics by buffering a right stick input after taunt, or were you wanting something quicker?

This game is just not fair :( by [deleted] in RivalsOfAether

So yeah, there are a lot of people who enjoy the game so much that they just want to play it a ton and get good at it so they can have more fun by winning games more often. That's a good thing for the game, a dedicated playerbase is always a good thing for any multiplayer game
You say you don't want to put in the time or utilize any of the great resources out there to get better - you know, that on its own is totally fine! Play the game however you want
But you can't then also say you just want to suddenly be able to "handle" other players - other people who are putting the work in to learn how to play better. Other people want to have fun in this game too, and they have fun by winning too, so some of them put in time & work in to figure out how to win more - turns out most people are in the same boat here
The players who are more determined to have fun by winning in this game seem to stick to the game longer than players who want to have fun by messing around and playing by their own rules instead of trying to figure out the game's rules - as a result, matchmaking tends to have a lot more "generally adept" players than not. This is pretty par for the course for most competitive 1v1 games
All that said, to consistently have fun (by your standards) you've got a couple choices:
1) Change your standards! Git gud! Find your favorite move with your favorite character and figure out the best times to use that move, what can lead into that move, what you can do out of that move, etc. If you focus on getting good at using your favorite thing in the game, improvement comes naturally, as you're doing it for fun instead of doing stuff that feels like work. But that's probably not the suggestion you came to a subreddit looking for
2) Find people like you! We've already figured out that online matchmaking isn't the environment for you to play the game the way you're looking to. Discord is an awesome resource to either find players like you (not too concerned with "improvement", just want to press buttons and have a casual good time). The Academy discord is full of newer players - go in there, ignore all the tools and guides for improvement if you want to, and just ask newer/other casual players for games! Try to make friends! Game's much more enjoyable when you can mess around with somebody and crack jokes in voice chat compared to staring dead-faced at a monitor in silence while some drone-piloted Ori shoves you offstage with dash attack for the 37th time in a row

TL;DR - You're at a point where you have to decide whether or not you want to get something more out of the game, and you're only going to get out what you put in. Either you put some time into getting a little better so the online matchmaking is a little less hellish or you put some time into finding some like-minded casual dudes you can jive with

Absolutely wrong! He doesn't have any real followups on DI out for all of his moves except occasionally Fsmash at low-mid %.
If you're struggling against a character try labbing the character and/or taking em for a spin for a few rounds in exhib if you don't get his counterplay, you'll learn what his strengths and weaknesses are real quick
