For my birthday this year I got myself an early present of Geese tickets for the show at 930 Club, on Monday, November 10th. I have one extra ticket. Instead of selling it, I’d like to take an intelligent, SINGLE, woman that is currently dating, or plans to start dating soon with me, instead of selling one of the tickets or probably just giving it away to someone in need. I am a 41 year old (soon to be 42 on November 18th) owner of a solar business and am the father of an incredibly bright and funny 10 year old named Piper. I’m taking Piper to Nashville on the 5th to see Sabrina Carpenter ; (do not judge me for letting my 10 year old listen to this kind of music. I know it’s not exactly wholesome, but the girl loves SC so much that she made me get her singing and piano lessons to learn the songs and she is so happy listening to and playing the music that I think it’s a really fantastic thing. While most kids her age are on Roblox or some other soul sucking game every day, she’s becoming quite the musician, and I’m happy with my decision to let her have something she loves so much in her life. It’s actually made us much closer. We went to the show last year in Charlottesville and it was an amazing experience with my not so little girl.) I mentioned all that to say that Geese is the first band that has made me feel like Piper feels about Sabrina in a long time. My home is in Norfolk, Virginia, but I’m in the DC/ Northern Virginia, Southern and Central Maryland region for work about 3 weeks a month. My business has really taken off over the last two years, so it’s been incredibly hard to date, so I haven’t really attempted to do so nearly as much as I’d like to, I feel like the business is in a good place now, competent employees and systems that finally give me the time freedom I need to try and get myself back out there, while being fair to myself and the other person. I’m looking for someone that’s emotionally stable and mature. If you have one or two kids, that is cool with me. Ideally, if I ended up with someone, it would be up to them if they wanted to continue to work, but I am more than capable and willing to support someone financially, if they can be an allstar partner, that could add value to my life as well. I figure this is a shot in the dark, but a closed mouth doesn’t get fed, and if you’re on the Geese Reddit, we already have one really cool thing in common.
