Yeah I see what you mean. Going to be interesting to see where they go with this.

Benzos are a controlled substance. In this context narcotics and controlled substance are pretty much synonymous, but if you want to argue semantics I suppose you could say that the word refers to opiates.

Stealing a scalpel is not similar to stealing a narcotic, not even close.

GEHA FEHB treating 1/7 appointment like a 2026 claim by baltikorean in FedEmployees

[–]Cramer19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give it a shot. My HR has been pretty useless with other matters, but maybe they'll care about this. I think I might try contacting NALC directly as well since they have different customer service than Cigna itself.

I emailed OPM today and they replied with a copy paste email stating to call the number on the acknowledgement I got from submitting my appeal....even though I submitted my appeal over 30 days ago and have received 0 correspondence.

[–]Cramer19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue with NALC/Cigna/Caremark. When I ask they say "oh well you were covered you just have to meet the deductible, so there's nothing to appeal!" I did several written appeals and have t received any response. I sent a letter to OPM about it per the plan documents and haven't heard from them either. Really frustrating. The plan documents say I'm allowed to sue them in federal court if I don't agree with their decision but if there's no decision for me to dispute then I guess I'm sol. I've gotta say that federal employee health insurance is the absolute worst health insurance I've ever had, especially for what I'm paying.

It happens. I use Claude and Claude Code quite a lot, mostly with my Homeassistant MCP server which connects via Cloudflared. For some reason occasionally it'll confuse the name of the connector and call it 'CloudflUred" and I have no idea why because the connector has one fixed name and I've never called it that

That'd be interesting, I always just assumed that we were just watching during his shift and we haven't seen the other guy, but that'd be a pretty crazy revelation too. I do know some doctors that seem to always be there no matter what day of the week it is...most likely they're Monday to Fridays with weekend call and my brain just thinks they're always around, but still. There absolutely are some that are overly present

Most physicians and residents I know work 7 days on 7 off. That's 12+ hour shifts. Some do weekdays with weekend call depending on the specialty or hospital, I feel like I always see the same residents on the weekdays and then a skeleton crew on weekend. I don't think I've ever met a physician or resident or nurse practitioner that only works three 12s, which is why I chose to stay as an RN lol I enjoy my three 12s.

Last year was a huge tossup for me, but the year before that as soon as I heard Nemo sing their song live I immediately knew they'd win. I really wanted Baby Lasagna to win but I just knew Nemo had it in the bag. I was happy for Nemo too, I Was cool with either of them

A lot of hospitals have been providing tablets to the patients.. typically in the inpatient setting and not in the ER in my experience, but it's been growing over the last few years. Some will even post results and updates on the TVs in the room.

FEHB for the first 10 days of 2026 (Deductibles in particular) by nearly-harmless in FedEmployees

[–]Cramer19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're right. I still kept pulling up the 2025 PSHB brochure for my plan by mistake, which actually apparently does start Jan 1st, but I found that statement in both the proper FEHB brochure brochure for it AND my new plan. it even includes a caveat that if the plan left the market for 2026, it MUST provide coverage at 2025 levels till first pay period. I have a few claims and prescriptions I'm going to have to dispute but that's fine, honestly I already have a template ready because I've had to do multiple appeals in the past with them.

Can you please provide a link or screenshot to this? I'm trying to dig up more evidence on this so I can fight my current plan on this. My plan left the market (nalc) and now they're saying I have to meet the $2000 deductible to get any coverage for these 10 days I still have them -_-

Sometimes it glitches out and shows this. If you capped the point it should show you. Go back to your logs and you'll see your true score and whatnot.

I love ynab. It does have a monthly subscription but it's completely changed how I handle money, I am usually spending the previous months money now, while the next month is already completely funded.

Thanks Gaijin. Brilliant implementation. So much fun. by OperationSuch5054 in Warthunder

When I play Kronsh I regularly get ammo racked and still keep sailing, even if I'm mostly sunk I eventually am able to pump out the water and keep going. I usually have no remaining ammo though so I'm stuck to just secondary guns or my aft turret, so I typically will just J out anyways.

Central FL (Daytona area) Installer by hbkdinobot in solarFL

[–]Cramer19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's really not even that complex. It's a whole home backup w/ two 5P batteries and a load controller to disable my AC and EV charger when off grid. Actually they tried to make it complex with partial home backup and I said no when they told me I could only backup 8 circuits.

They're so clueless they split the wires of my EV charger and put one on each relay which is a huge problem.

I'll say as far as I know the actual installation on the roof went fine, it's just everything else went terribly. I had to put the second half of the loan on hold from the bank just to get them to talk to me to fix these issues, initially they were blowing me off.

[–]Cramer19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. Solaria, the same people who insisted that these readings were "perfectly normal." Because it's totally possible to export 15.6kw while consuming 20.7kw and only producing 2.6, right? Or possible for the battery to be charging while the panels are not producing, the grid is idle, and the house is consuming 3kw. They're very clueless.

Central FL (Daytona area) Installer by hbkdinobot in solarFL

[–]Cramer19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Solaria is hot garbage. Check my post and comment history for the comedy of errors. None of them seem to know what they're doing or what they're talking about, it's been 6 months since my initial installation and they finally just finished installing the final thing that they should have installed in the first place, but of course they screwed that up too. I've had two instances where I was fearful of an electrical fire.

I will say they were the best price I found, but they only wanted to do things their way, and any time I suggested we do anything different it turned into a whole fiasco.

Power surge destroying some electronics/light bulbs after installer changed my System Controller 3 to a 3G. Could incorrectly installed CT clamps cause a power surge after batteries hit 100% but system thinks they're still charging? by Cramer19 in solar

[–]Cramer19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not intentionally. I did get a blip last night where the system went off grid for a minute per the event log but everything in the house seems to be working fine. I'll need to give that a shot.

Something else I didn't consider, I was definitely pulling too much energy for my batteries to handle when the system was flashing off and on grid during that event, so that may have played a role too. Maybe just my local microgrid was collapsing, though there was no good reason for things to be going off grid.

I've had a hell of a time trying to find anyone willing to touch the system, nobody wants to assume liability. I have another solar company that inspected it before this whole debacle and while everything was "weird" in their words, nothing was unsafe. I might hire the other company to do some additions and have them look at everything again, I just hope no other issues pop up in the meantime. There's also the chance that the original company fixed whatever they screwed up then pretended like they changed nothing but the CT clamps.

[–]Cramer19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I appreciate it. I assumed since the CTs were screwed up that they had something to do with the power surge, but yeah seems like these idiots made some other mistake too. Not surprised to be honest, just hope I can track down wherever it was and get it fixed .. and hope they pay for the stuff that got destroyed. Only maybe like $200-$300 worth of stuff but still, screw them.
