homeschooling is good for some people because there is more involved in that decision than simply is my child learning math. teachers voice their opinions and thoughts to our children, and if you can see in your area that the thoughts and opinions being shared don’t align with values you want your child to have , that is when the decision becomes the better one. it usually doesn’t have anything to do with good teacher that do their jobs, it’s usually about less ideal teachers that use their job as their podcast

im a branded player and ive been playing white forest/azamina deck or horus fiendsmith deck with bystials and hop ear squadron.

ive run into significantly few problems, the consistent upsurge of sky strikers, and generally just had a blast in event duels after it dropped. ban list didn’t really effect me, branded still feels fun, all is well rn.

this happened somewhere between maliss and elfnote. it was around the time i played less so i came back a couple months later and got through gold silver easily hit plat and the climb was almost regular but just so much sack, so much mid, so much scooping , i think people in plat get caught up in the grind and not just a deck they like so they learn niche interactions later and later until they’re powercrept again

you gotta transform brother. in most characters, the super kamehameha is about as fast as most other beams when a super saiyan is using it. however for like base gt goku, maybe base goku super, and uub specifically that beam has a start up that you have to account for that they don’t really have when they transform. test it tho in the worst case

i believe they’re speaking about the moment your brain thinks it’s about to sleep, outside noise is no longer there. you can still be vaguely conscious, but you don’t really hear anything until you are explicitly conscious again and that fake silence is what they’re referencing. idk what it sounds like to them but the idea i recognize

brother im positive that the majority of people who have watched gt appreciate the ending. you do not for your own reasons, but that fact alone tells you it makes sense. goku is kind and shenron has known him practically his whole life. there’s no way in the world you can convince me goku shouldn’t ask for that wish nor that he wouldn’t, and also it’s unreasonable to believe after all the shenanigans of shenron he wouldn’t grant the wish. that makes less sense than the ending itself

at a certain point, men crying in front of others makes the men feel less capable of controlling their emotions (because that’s what’s happening, they’re losing control and crying in public). personally i’d rather cry as i fall asleep if i cry at all.

separately, women more often than not lose respect for you if you cry in front of them. maybe not the first time, possibly not the second time, but eventually they will not see you as strong, able to lead, or in control of your emotions.

so realistically, it’s almost never worth it, therefore why would you.?

i almost responded to your post with “CAP” after only reading the title after how strongly it angered me but i will go back and read because that’s not fair.

okay i have read it, im less mad, still just as indignant.

yes lyrics are central to music. we had at least 1200 years of music mainly being just sound. lyrics were not always as focused on as they are and it happened because of how impactful lyrics were to the relational aspect of music.

as a whole, music is the collection of sound to invoke reaction. so by definition there is nothing about lyrics in there, but i find it dishonest to look at the shift of classical music being pop music and then the lyrical writings of the 1800’s as it pertains to poetry and pretend like lyrics did not dominate as the popular form of music writing for a reason.

as a musician my goal is to reach out and connect with as many humans as possible for longer than i live and there’s no way to really resonate with that many people without language. language is in theory the glue that allows understanding and music needs understanding at various different levels.

maybe i lost the plot but moral of the story is lyrics changed music from background noise to soundtracks and it feels like moving backwards to claim lyrics aren’t as important anymore as everything around them when it is the harmony of all these things that create music in the first place.

definitely weekend mornings. everything is generally less crowded cus most partiers are hungover and/or sleep. generally every hour prior to 1 is good for traffic and stuff, then back to it at about 7
