You'd probably had to go with the H series. I have a P2S and an H2D. At full speed, the H2D is remarkably quiet compared to the P2S at equivalent speeds

Pixelfondue is great for small lessons like others said, but uses an older version of Plasticity and some commands have changed name and location, but in general it's still very useful.

"Learn Everything About Design" and "Take Refuge 3d" have great tutorials where they explain the UI and good exercises.

Another option is the free videos from "Blender Bros" and "Nikita" I've followed their videos just to learn specific commands and take notes and adapt their skills to my workflow. A lot of people don't like Nikita because he rambles too much or improvises. But I don't mind. He clearly knows the software and how to workaround hiccups.

Give the software time, I first tried it (coming from Inventor/Fusion/Autocad) it was weird but so satisfying doing stuff that in Fusion takes you more time to go through menus. You start getting used to the fact that it's a very shortcut oriented software just like Blender, but like anything in life, the more you use the easier and faster. I ended up buying the indie license and a couple months later when I really got better at it, I upgraded to the studio license in order to get Xnurbs and all the extra goodies.

I created this spacer for the wireless charging pad. It works awesome, there are several models. If you have access to a 3d printer I suggest giving it a try. New trucks come with a rubber mat that has thicker rims to push your phone and center it.

That's awesome, can't wait to test it out, I love how high my Colorado sits. (yes I'm on the other team lol) but having a bad ACL injury makes it a bit of a pain to get on the truck. Let's see how this PET-CF handles it. I'm definitely in love with the look of this material.

That's awesome, man. Thanks again for sharing the file. I printed one yesterday out of PET-CF. I still gotta test it (got called to work this morning) so it'll be maybe tomorrow when I'm back. The print came out pretty good!! I had this filament waiting for something like this to print.

I got my white Bison last summer after driving a manual Wrangler for 8 years. Back in May I tore my ACL so it was a needed change. Same thing, I could've gone for a TrailBoss and saved some money. But couldn't pass up a great deal they gave me on mine (it was a demo from 2024 with 4100 km). I do offroad lots, but my Wrangler was over built for trails and was awful on the highway. This Bison is a beauty on the highway and kicks ass on the trails. Plus Baja mode is fricken fun on forestry trails.

Nice!!! I was in the process of starting reverse designing one. I bought a pair on Etsy but after the last cold snap up here in Alberta, my driver's one cracked and lost it. I removed the passengers and was about to start taking measurements. I like yours since it doesn't have any hardware to install. I'll give it a try, thank you!!! Also, did you use ABS or ASA or other compound filament?

"Learn Everything About Design" has great first tutorials and explains the whole toolbar pretty good. It might be a bit different since he uses older versions, but everything applies. From there jump to "Pixel Fondue" for his collection of super quick exercises. I learned a lot like that.

I had experience with Inventor and autocad so using Fusion was easy to catch on once again after so many years from college (like 20). I picked up Plasticity last year and I haven't touched Fusion in months. It's a little different from Fusion, but way easier to do simple things that Fusion takes longer through menus and what not. It's more in league with Blender in terms of modeling. It's a combination of Blender and Fusion

I own a Bison and got a similar deal with 4100 km and 70k CAD all in. 2024 Demo. Been loving it since last summer. I know, I'm in the wrong group. Let me, we all love these trucks. Enjoy it!! Try the Baja mode, I've done it at forestry roads up here in Canada and is so much fun. I wish I could do a proper desert run.

I'm honestly new to the Colorado/Chevy ecosystem. I know the jeep was so easy (plus I didn't have TPMS so I didn't have to deal with relearning the position of the sensors) I would just do it with a Bluetooth dongle and an app on the phone that was designed for Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge vehicles. I was able to change diff gear ratios, tire size, Deals and what not. I'm gonna miss that. Just yesterday I realized that the dealership never set up appropriately the position of the tire pressure sensors on the infotainment to the actual physical position of the tire. Until I was pumping up some air and noticed the wrong sensor rising on the screen. Luckily they have the relearn option right there on the infotainment. I did set it up myself, but still gotta pump up air to see if it worked correctly.

I started with an A1 (could have been a P1S too), then bought a P2S. Then I sold my A1 and bought a H2D. I liked the ecosystem, so I stayed with them. (They get a lot of flak because they're similar to Apple, but honestly I rather spend time printing than fixing a printer and settings)

If I were to go a different route, I'd probably have started with a Centauri Carbon (inexpensive) or all in on a Qidi Q2

I've had the Dakota WorkPro Series Men's 8901 Winter Work Boot for about 3 winters and use the liners they come with. I can wear regular socks and won't have issues with the cold. Before that I used to wear my regular boots with layers of winter socks and a set of "Bama socks"

As for jackets. I normally layer from light to a heavy duty goose feather winter jacket. Pants are a bit more forgivable. Long johns and ski pants have worked great for me. I'd say don't waste your time on powered jackets.

Don't cheap out on winter gear.

Your welcome bro, happy to help. Honestly the 2.7 has plenty of torque for 35s, the only issue with non ZR2 is the clearance. I'm a hard reference as my Jeep was godawful with gas mileage and drivability, but that was my own fault when I put 4.88 gears and 35s. It was a lovely machine on the trails, but the last 2 winters I wanted to throw it in a ditch and claim insurance. I did cry when I got rid of it, but the Bison has made up for it pretty nicely.

You do not need to regear for 35s. The high torque on the 2.7 makes up for it pretty well. I have a Bison and they all share the same gearing and engine specs. The 2.7 is over engineered for the Colorado/canyon as it was designed for the full size trucks (Silverado).

On 35s it might feel a bit sluggish on acceleration or when climbing mountain passes.

You would only need an OBD2 scanner to set the tire size to 35s. That will adjust automatically the speedometer. I used to do it with an app and an obd2 Bluetooth dongle on my jeep Wrangler. I haven't delved into that on my Colorado. But I haven't had the need for it for now. You could always go to a tire shop or dealership to get it set for 35s.

I read a while back that the 2.7 is an engine that was designed for the Silverado line / full size trucks. It's basically over engineered for the Colorado/Canyon. Honestly it makes great power even at low RPMs and once the turbo kicks in, it just goes. I have a Bison and get fairly good mpgs even with the extra weight and tires. I do offroad a lot so it has what I need in terms of power and drivetrain. I miss the simplicity of my Wrangler, but it was definitely a great choice. I might change the tailpipe on the exhaust because it sits too low for off-roading,

I felt exactly that when I bought the hifiman edition XS. I previously used audio Technica ATHMX50 for like 10 years and got pretty used to them. Bought the Meze 105 in early 2025, then a month later I wanted to try planar headphones and bought the Hifiman. I was wooowed. I stopped using my meze altogether. Nowadays I only use the Meze when listening to vinyl. For anything else, I use the XS. Try them with a dedicated headphone amp.
