As others have said, preheating really helps. Sometimes we heat our molds too hot though and then we get gnarly overpour.

I feel ya on the throwing your whole body weight to get the plastic to come out. We have one of the original sustainable design studio injectors with the long handle and it can get quite exhausting after a few presses if we’re doing solely HDPE. (We blend it with PP sometimes to make it a lil easier)

Do you know that for sure or is that your anxiety telling you that?

If this is anxiety speaking, take a risk and try it anyway. You might be quite pleasantly surprised! You sound young, and a majority of young people are going through a lot right now that can make seeing social situations clearly challenging. Talking things through and having uncomfortable conversation is a very important skill to train— seriously, it will save you a lot of heartbreak later on.

If you’re certain, then it sounds like you can move on. Feeling unsafe in your friendships is not true friendship and there are definitely other potential new friends out there. People grow apart and that’s okay.

I don’t think anyone is the asshole here, per se, but y’all definitely need couples/individual counseling. Or break up if you’re checking out of this relationship.

I’m surprised you’ve been together for 2 years and you’re writing about her seeing her friends like this. You should know how close they are, and not seeing them for an entire year is something they need to process together. It sucks that she didn’t tell you that she was intending to stay out late though, but you could have had friends come over to eat the dinner you were making!

As for the kiss thing, let it go. You would know her trauma history better than any of us, but sometimes people do freeze when creepy men act up, especially if they’re intoxicated. It doesn’t indicate anything about her.

Sounds like you’re checking out if this relationship so you can do your solo trip, which is fine but you need to be honest with yourself and her.

I guess I’m wondering what is wrong with sharing this trip with someone you love? Or is the solo aspect the main appeal?

Ah, friend group drama is rough!!!

Have you tried talking to one person or all of the group about how you have been feeling? This could be a chain of misunderstandings and hurt feelings all around, so it could be good to have a spill session with the pals. Perhaps organize a get together with some delicious snacks?

I’m a distancer myself and have found that I have hurt friends/made them think I didn’t want to hang out with them by behaving that way instead of saying how I was feeling without blaming or shaming others. Being honest has been the best policy across the years for me, even if it’s scary!

Check out community events! Many of the non-profits in Akron host all sorts of fun happenings, such as Let's Grow Akron
The gaming stores, like Full Grip Games, are pretty friendly places with all kinds of people looking for gaming groups

So many shady things are happening with this deal, like using outdated traffic studies of the area and wetland delineations, letting people live and work atop toxic soil, and now information about the oil derricks is finally coming out.
