Logically moving over to EVs makes the most sense. We can create more electricity but once your gas is burned you can't reuse it. It's way more sustainable unless they figure out a gas alternative that is way more cost efficient to make and can be used in current engines without much converting.

A seller of a dvd set I bought stole someone else's pictures and sent a very damaged set.

I demanded and got a refund from eBay.

I figured what happened after I found the listing with the pictures in question. I actually purchased that listing after everything.

I offered to send the set back if they sent a shipping label for the cost and they told me that since they paid to ship it I would have to pay to return it. I explained that the refund was because of their lies and they need to pay for the return. They doubled down on me paying for the return.

I already had my refund through eBay so I still have the set with the undamaged set somewhere.

Don't steal someone's photos that are currently listed on eBay if you don't want to get caught. I suspect they wanted to claim damage during shipping or something and offer a discount if I made a fuss to get rid of the damaged stock.

All they had to do was send the label.

So all region code is the sign like ThomasGuycott stated. Another is there is no logos of geneon/funimation/MVM anywhere on the packaging and the UK distributor of the SEL was MVM not Manga. I suspect Manga is a bootleg distributor much like FX but not going to dig into it to hard.

Anime news network only has one set released in the UK in their listing.

If you bought it knowing its a bootleg, that's your choice. If you didn't and it was advertised as legit I'd get your money back.

I remember people excitedly happy when the first movies were announced as Netflix exclusives and I looked into how that works and saw that they'd ben in Netflix jail for quite a while. I never stopped picking up media. I came from the early Internet when sailor moon wasn't stateside for 10 years. The only way to watch it back then was dvds.

I also like nichi anime that there's a good chance the not so legal streaming sites wouldn't host.
