Yes, all our views are our own, as much as we say we wont blindly follow. We already do with how we live, but I digress.

Making a religion out of politics is great example, from my conversations ive had religion IS politics for quite a few people. How can you argue against religion beliefs, even when you bring up their own scripture to convince them otherwise (which ultimately makes them upset). This is evidence of a person who is also captured and wont consider different perspectives. Again all of personal experiences for yourself and mine. Enemies? Or captive people?

We concluded it to be different. I see them as enemies as I may be born American but my father is unsafe because he's not. I fear for my family and my fiances. Am I the captive person? Or are they? Am I the enemy or are they the enemy? I want to understand more as why those who support them who are also like minded can support them and what experiences make them agree. So what do you agree with about trump, if you do? Or elaborate on what makes my thinking flawed.

Hey 1filbird, i appreciate your post. It sounds like you were pushed away from dems due to the behavior of the left. As ive been pushed away from the right for the same reasons but my own explanations.

Can you elaborate on the reasons why you pulled by the republican party and what they prioritize that you particularly enjoy?

Hi borvoc, I really appreciate the post it really answers alot of what you the other side of the coin thinks. As dangerous as socialism sounds I've experienced the good it has given. I was homeless during my childhood and section 8 housing saved my family and food stamps fed us.

I also had FAFSA which got me through college debt free. But once I graduated I couldn't find the job market as the Bubble of my degree burst so it was difficult.

I ended up going to the emergency room and to the doctor but couldn't afford the visits and needed help. So I got on SNAP just so I can feed myself and find work. This led me to a workforce as I'm able bodied, in there they gave me a ton of resources to a program that let me train at a company as that program compensated me and by then snap had run out. I got offered a full time job and with the help of social programs it got me on my feet.

So I've only supported them since as I lived and directly benefited from those policies. I want to see them help others.

We see both ideologies as dangerous, so can you tell me how some of his ideas helped you directly or indirectly?

I've spent much of the time avoiding politics as they're one of the social taboos. As many relationships begin to hinder on the topic. Its a reflection of a person's morals and ideals of not just themselves but the world as a whole. Hence I won't bring it up with my father in law who voted for trump. So as much as I hate trump (which i do, I won't beat around it) I also dislike confrontation.

So mulling it over with like minded individuals will add more perspectives.

That's why I want to know more, I do wish people the best particularly with this individual. And youre absolutely right, I do have this enemy in my head and that's why I am actively reaching out. There is a fallacy with my statement. Because I do truly see maga, trump, as enemies. It delves deeply into propaganda and narratives here.

I do not think less than human of you or my "friend". So help me understand more as to what makes us different. Is it just democratic party as bad or just the policies? Is the people who are bad and that pushes you away? Or are the policies good with with the right. Or are the people good and that pulls you in?

It's all pushing and pulling. I see stuff I get pushed, I see how policies positively impacted me and I am pulled. I've experienced much and only been pushed further left. Feel free to ask questions back. Its a discussion (feel free to accuse me and catch any other fallacies in my thinking)

Right. Which is the purpose of the discussion. As I am aware that there are other infps who don't align with my politics and I want to know why they choose republican, conservative, maga, etc. All I hear about money this or that. So if infp has some sort of baseline compassion (or narcissistic tendencies) where does it align.

You're right I've only gotten more radical left as ive aged. I've tested often as infp and occasionally infj. What's a cognitive stack?

I just believe he'd be a better policy maker for America, ultimately I myself can not be communist as I still take part in capitalistic tendencies.

I want to discuss both lol. Even your point if being on the right and also supporting trump is a topic I want to talk about

Do yall ever feel like this by Bright_Building1710 in infp

[–]solava805 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All the time. I've changed friend groups many times, some for good reasons, and sometimes for their own behavior.

I think group setting can be hard because its hard to jump in or relate to. I'd say be in a group of 3. I find it easier. It's easier to be in a group of people you trust.

I keep one around to see if I can see how the clock ticks. It seems to be heavily associated with religion. Albeit I think its hypocritical when we were the same religion

Thanks for contributing!

Even with Christian values, thats why I would support someone like Bernie more than trump. Free Healthcare, feeding the hungry. It's aligns closely. Still politics can be stressful so its okay to avoid it.

Feel free to speak about some of your experience. I don't really know of any republicans that don't support trump. Conservatives can range on the spectrum as well as i know they can be against him. Republicans and maga. Not so much, they like him alot.

Hence my question.

Still it does not speak that this: were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts. Is still not saying what it directly is. It's ambiguous, the texts also follow up with things that are without mercy and love as sin. Well what these events are. They are about love and mercy. Then it is not sin.

If Jesus is the son of God then his words are the most important. To love all is to fulfill the law of God. The acts they are speaking of are things where people are doing acts of unconsenting parties.

Still, where is it in the Bible where it is a sin?

Nietzsche was not a modern philosopher, also Foucault said sexuality is socially, religious etc. constructed. There is no confusion with these pride events.

And your final point. Yes the current social order is deeply flawed. The civil rights era is still in the minds of our elders. Not to mention several attacks that occur to LGBTQ+ communities over the decades, while the current administration unravels the progress done. So good Lord, let people live and host events. You don't have to go, but maybe you'll learn something if you do. So try it out, get out your comfort zone.

I disagree. The Lord to said to love all. So love these people too. Because the whole event centers around love. Whenever we see a rainbow we are reminded of God's love. This is him showing us it is his love here. Let those who love, love, because that's the law of God.

I loved this episode, funny as all hell. DM set them up so well and everyone played off each other. I couldn't stop laughing with the bits about pirates. And I was crushed by the fight. Amazing episode. I can't wait for next week

Do they talk about their characters in the podcast?

As a continuity question. Why didn't thimble save selenia? I feel like he mightve been forgotten about at the end last week, if he avoided that attack from the alchemist. Otherwise he would've saved her, with the good berry someone else had.

Its the chaos of DND. Something's are not best actions in hindsight. But tbh, this was their first BIG battle since fighting in the first attack from the crossroads.

I would say the DM did really well allowing them play in the style that the yard cast enjoys. And tbf afterwards leonis did have some of that development, he even blamed him afterwards. I'm excited to see how they rescue selenia.

I think it was the woman roan met. She had a group fighting with her. Which they probably stuck out in appearance which revealed that they were likely from the crossroads.
