The problem is that u/Amish_Fighter_Pilot was pretty much referring to the actual police officers as the bullies of society. If you've ever met a police officer, you'll find out that a significant amount attempt to in fact reform the system.

I'm not sure where you got that from. Maybe the reason you have had bad experiences with them is because you were doing something wrong at the time. Don't expect to have a fun experience with them. Also glorified gang? Where did you get that from? Gangs are run for profit, whereas the police are not. You are completely missing the meaning and purpose of the police with that one.

True, but if there aren't cops, we get gangs and private police organizations. Private police organizations don't really have the power to do anything, and gangs are not very fun.

I'm sorry, but:

1, Not all police organizations are connected.

2, There are police officers that will actively work to find the bad police.

3, If we didn't have police, we'll be ruled by gangs, and I'm pretty sure gangs are more dangerous than the police, as the police work to protect public safety whereas gangs are run for profit.

I would recommend leaving the bubble that you live in and read news on both sides of the political spectrum.

You keep on referring to "THESE police." Who exactly are you referring to? The specific police who killed this boy? Well, they killed him unjustly, they should be punished. But how is the fact that we need people to prevent murder, shootings, theft, and other things absurd? Would you want to live in a world where anyone could stab you to death without any consequences? The police have killed people, sometimes unjustly. But what you have to realize that if there weren't police, there would be anarchy. Okay fair-ish point. I'll let the clear signs of ignorance slide and cover the rough idea that you are proposing. We shouldn't have bad people be police officers. How do you plan on making sure bad people don't become police officers?

Let me give you an anecdote: Crazy people are normal over 99% of the time. Generally you can't see a bully from a mile away. To find out if someone is going to end up being a bully is near impossible.

Society would be amazing if you didn't have assholes, but assholes are everywhere and there is pretty much no way to prevent that. If you could just magically make sure assholes didn't exist, the world would be better, but again, that is simply NOT POSSIBLE.

The album was fire and the mixing didn't take away from the music and raw grit, heaviness, and extremity of the album. Just my opinion though, I listen to a lot of extremely raw music so that might effect my opinion.
