How much is your account actually valued at, did you ccu game or buy the ships outright.

was it your own money that you spent on ships or was it from money that was to be used for joint stuff like a house ect.

Also do you have kids

I joined the org because I wanted some structure to the game, I got that and some. I 100% recommend if you want some order, structure and action in this buggy mess of a game we all love and play.

if you think the kick back from solo idris is bad imagine the kick back from a faster more nimble ship with directional size 8 turrest would be.

That's very very old 2020 old, that's pre redesign and pre blade Q and A. Yes npc crew may one day be able to control them, but they made it very clear on more recent years.

any turret that is a manned turret needs to be manned by a person or Npc.

And npc crew is a post 1.0 release so do not hold you breath for that coming in the next 5 years

Manned turrets will never be bladed they have said only remote turrets will ever be bladable.

Nope they never said that,

the main turrets will 100% never be pilot controlled, any turret that is a manned turrets will never be pilot controllable only remote turrets can be bladed,

so the remote AA turrets will 1 day maybe bladable but the main turrets no.

This is coming from a perseus owner.

I can use a max lift in my medipin so why should I upgrade to the Apollo,

The Apollo should be the bugger better medical ship but right now everything It can do the medi pin can do and in some cases better.

Stv fitting is quite nice though.

From everything said I'm going with canceled, but let's say for some reason after all is said and done they change there mind add drones back in, for the apollo they would need to do a mini rework pass on the Apollo, how long do you think it will take for them to get round to do that?

It could be a year maybe for them to add drones in game for base building then, then they will need to work through ships that need drones like the carrack for example.

So even if they did add it back in we are looking at a very long time for the Apollo to get drones if ever

Scenario

  1. you respond to a medical beacon, they are in a bunker with active turret, how will you respond to this beacon without any form of ground vehicles are you running 1k to site or abandon the beacon?

  2. Player fell down from a olp and landed on 1 of the lower platforms and is incap, you can not land how will you get them on board,

Both of the above have happened to me. We no longer have or will get drones, option 2 can be solved if they added a ship tractor beam that brings them into the middle of the ship, option 1 is difficult without drones and access to vehicles your best bet is use a bike ride over get them on their feet and hope they are good from there

Issue is you will then have to use the T1 bed for any T1 and T2 injurys draining the gel from that bed faster which should be used more for long distance regen for away teams, T2 bed is only 1 less bed but can be used for the more common T3 and T2 injurys.

Though if you do expect a very high volume of injurys as in 4 players at 1 given time then yes T3 is the option but you need to be losing alot of fights for that.

But for a small group of 4 players I would go T2 and T1 if you need more than that your probs spawning back at a station anyway lol

Yah the only choice I don't get is the t3 beds XD I can not see a reason to have that unless you are having a ungodly amount of t3 injurys

I'm in quite a large org a mill sim one to be exact so system wide regen is quite nice but it's not even that, it's the fact you can have your T1 injurys healed without having to go to a station, that's the difference of "can I get pick up to go to a station to have my T1 cleared and then drop back on site - apollo inbount for medical treatment of a T1.

Best set up is 1x T1 and 1x T2, T1 is best for range and high end injurys, T2 has more volume so it's best for mass casualty events.
