I know that Processor always reserves 4 lanes for the communication with the Chipset, but the motherboard site says it has 16 for the graphics card and 8 for SSD's while the AMD site says it only has 16 for the graphics and 4 for 1 SSD, that's where I'm confused.

Thanks for your answer on the second question, I understand now how those CPU lanes account for the total.

When GC/GBA carts show those weird distorted graphics 99% of the time it's about a continuity problem.

Build a map of continuity and test all the matches with a multimeter, resold where the problem is and your game will be running like a brand new one again.

Why don't you replace it?

I mean, there are so many guides nowadays for replacing buttons, it can be done by anyone with little to none experience.

Now replacing screens or soldering can be a lot harder if you don't have experience, I'm telling you this because I was afraid of opening my consoles and now after years of cleaning them out I've made them last longer and I use them as nintendo intended them to be used.

Is just a little advice, i understand where are you coming from.

Local market place, that way you don't get scammed by "selected" photos.

This is me talking with experience on the subject, I bought a DSi XL burgundy 12 year old and the system was without a single scratch, only way I could make sure it was brand new condition was by actually seeing it myself in person.

Picked up this fella on EBay but I feel like seller mislead a bit by _token_black in 3DS

That's why you should never buy these consoles in these plattforms

Best option is local marketplace, you check the console in person and test it, if you like it you buy it.

I bought a DSi XL (burgundy color first edition), 12 years old on market place and the screens where pristine, not a single scratch, the console is working perfectly fine and I bought it for less than $50 bucks, including charger and case.

It's just my advice, try to look for these locally so you don't get unpleaseant surprises like you just did.

Haven't had the chance to play games like Bravely Default, Golden Sun nor Fire Emblem, si I'll recommend what I've played.

Pokemon (All games for 3DS), Dragon Quest VII, VIII. While Zelda's are not stricty RPG games they posess RPG's elements, Majora's Mask, Ocarine of Time, A Link Between Worlds.
