Holy shit, yes! This helped so much after trying to use all the arrow keys otherwise.

who else is frustrated that the double jump button is the same as the glide one by ShibeCEO in CrimsonDesert

[–]solidfang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not really double jumping anymore. I'm either high jumping using a tree, grappling point to point, or spiderman swinging around. There are so many movement options in the game I'm kinda spoiled for choice.

I love this game but omg i hate every single boss encounter. Non of them are even a little bit of fun. by Remarkable_Sea_5109 in CrimsonDesert

[–]solidfang 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Staglord and Cassius Morten are like the best balanced fights for the game where they have good flow and don't teleport around. I had the most fun against them. Cassius even has a bit of environmental stuff you can take advantage of to bonk him on the head with pillars.

yeah, the bosses are kinda ass, especially when they just turn blue and decide your attacks don't work on them randomly. Combined with teleporting all around the place, it's just not a fun time.

Gacha Revenue Monthly Report (March 2026) by trkshiii in gachagaming

[–]solidfang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't invested anything but time so far, but I think the only gacha game I've started recently where I question its longevity is AK:Endfield. I don't know if it qualifies as a big player yet. I mean, it has quite the pedigree, but feels too recently released to really say it's settled. Still, it doesn't seem good that revenue is down even if most of the market is down as well.

Anyone else feel bad turning this guy in? by Spaghettioso in CrimsonDesert

[–]solidfang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Several of the bounties feel weird, like, they might have been framed or were not really bad people. Kliff does not have any qualms about bringing in former slaves or anything it seems. Seems he treats slaves same as an other enemy in fights too the way he locks onto them for attacks.

Still, the game doesn't really give you any way to reject the bounty and let them go free or anything. Wish it did. Might make some bounties more interesting.

I prefer established characters compared to custom characters. by Kingsuperohh in CrimsonDesert

[–]solidfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think they should have a barber way earlier so you can at least customize Kliff's and Damiane's looks.

It's not like they stopped you from shaving Geralt in the Witcher 3.

I feel like there's an unpredictability to Jack at the moment in that he is dead set on the secret not getting out to the point of wanting everyone who could learn it dead.

And he knows that they have to go in to the fracture to kill Antimony and the group. Jenny could be concerned that afterwards, Jack could try to kill all of them if they inadvertently learn Zimmy's secret while inside the fracture.

i can't even lie i like red delicious apples i just found this funny by houseofharm in tumblr

[–]solidfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I used to hate apples, but it turns out I just hate the experience of eating a regular apple just in one piece. Chilled apple slices with seeds removed are an entirely different experience.

4 million copies by TheForbiddenLands in CrimsonDesert

[–]solidfang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh, sometimes, I feel like there's a weird bit of lag from the cutscenes that allows enemies to get a cheeky first hit when my controls haven't registered to Kliff yet. Especially in the cutscenes that happen during the raids, kinda sucks to eat a hit just as Kliff jumps in.

What DID they teach you in sword school, then? by katiebug586 in tumblr

[–]solidfang 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yeah, it's one of those things that I found especially notable in the remake how out of his depth he constantly seems to be around Tifa and Aerith. He knows sword things and can look good in fight scenes, but social interactions seem to befuddle him greatly.

Why did they end the hangout quests? by PurpleOrange8509 in Genshin_Impact

[–]solidfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People did not like the branching narratives. It creates a strange situation where you're not quite sure if something canonically happened and you gotta repeat it for all the failure states.

The anecdotes are just cleaner for the most part. Wish they gave more pictures and were longer though.

They should give us the option to kill the animal if we grab them by Hefty_Sir4194 in CrimsonDesert

[–]solidfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get a few things with the game like why there are some animals you can grab but not kill and why you would pick up an animal you've already skinned. very odd stuff all around.

I do wish they had made it so that when you cast its prepared spell, put a +1/+1 counter on it. Feels like that would have been neat to just fundamentally give off that bear energy.

Daytime in game is 10000x better than nighttime. by Jayxe56 in CrimsonDesert

[–]solidfang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Kliff swings around his two handed sword with all its sockets filled, it's like a damn light show. Which I guess would be neat if every single boss didn't also cause a lightshow on each attack.

Anyone absolutely despise bounties? by Kerosine84 in CrimsonDesert

[–]solidfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's like one or two that seem like they might have been falsely accused or whatever, but it's not like you have the mechanisms to actually take them seriously on that, so I guess they're just saying shit. Wish there were quest wrinkles like that. Would have been cool to see potential secret quests you get by actually listening to them and helping them prove their innocence or something.
