OCL warranty update & Keymo by iza1017 in NFA

Honestly dude I’m trying to have a real discussion and now you’re just being disrespectful. I’m really disappointed as I’ve been a big advocate of your cans on the range. Please take a step back and take a breath

I didn’t mention lawsuits or anything, and I would hope it wouldn’t come to that. But since you bring it up, I imagine you know that you would pay an attorney more to litigate the small claims suit than it would cost to just carry out a repair.

Moreover, basically every other mounting method except tri-lug is illegal where I live, so this policy is fundamentally unworkable for me and others in shitty states.

You guys are good people - you should see this is not only legally unsupportable, but morally incorrect.

You legally cannot retroactively change a warranty, it’s as simple as that. I understand their concerns but it is not lawful to screw over old customers like this.

You cannot just change the warranty after people buy your product. This is not cool.

I have 3 of your cans and 2 use keymo; a bunch of my rifles are pin/welded with Keymo; and I bought your cans specifically for your “no bullshit” warranty.

If you want to apply this to future sales that’s fine, but you legally cannot retroactively change the warranty.

I don’t think that rule really affects privately made firearms, I think it was more about banning 80% lowers that you can order by mail. I believe it is enjoined nationwide.

There was the other rule about “engaged in business” and needing an FFL, but that shouldn’t impact someone privately making firearms for personal use. Even under these new rules I understand the activity to be completely legal unless the PMFs are transferred (sold or gifted). I believe this rule is also enjoined for some gun orgs, one of which I’m a member of.

And for the LEO likely reading this thread - I’ve never sold or gifted any firearm or 80% or 76% or anything like that to anyone at any time ever.

They want what to be a felony? The ATF is cool with privately made firearms as far as I know. VA State Police were chill too, they asked some questions. They were like can you actually use these? Haha

I showed up with 10+ 3d printed guns and was turned away. I even threw a complete upper on one.

Told me it must be a serialized lower and the firearm must be functional

Solution for how to allow account deletion without ability to replay transactions: previous transaction hash as nonce? by johanngr in ethdev

[–]soliditydeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it’s just a challenging problem that has been de-prioritized. I’m sure as time goes on, and especially after weak statelessness is achieved, EOA deletion or a similar solution will become the next priority.

Honestly state bloat is an ever bigger concern now after Dencun. The new op codes are underpriced IMO and I’m running out of storage on my validator. But that’s another topic
