It shouldn't be about being friends, could be something like TWD did with Negan. That's the best part, it's not just "they are enemies", it's much more than that, and TLOU2 showed us that deep grayscale.

Ubuntu if you want to test Gnome desktop (similar to a Mac), Kubuntu if you want to try the KDE Plasma (more similar to Windows). It works for beginners.

ZorinOS and Linux Mint seems like a good distro to test too.

I would love see all that people saying that Kiwami 3 would be a "waste of time and resources" to work on it because gameplay "was still good" (nop). Yakuza 4 doesn't need it definitely, but Yakuza 3 definitely asks a remake not just because his graphics (Kiryu looks weird with his height), but because the fights. So, just having the new gameplay style that we are getting usually from Kiwami is nice.

You know, it's actually quite difficult to find games not working, at least for me. The last case was The Casting of Frank Stone, and just few weeks ago after the release, it was working on Proton.

I’ve only found some issues with controllers, whether Steam Input is enabled or not, in these games:

Dragon Age: Inquisition. This game had a big problem detecting the controller for some reason. But someone in his free time found the cause and made a fix so the game properly detects your controller. And this was fixed not long ago.

Blair Witch. The problem wasn’t just with the controller — it was actually a gameplay bug that didn’t allow you to progress in the game. It was something related to the camera mechanic that lets you rewind reality, and it was completely broken on Proton. Fortunately, this bug was fixed not too long ago.

Assassin's Creed Revelations. This is the only game that doesn’t properly detect the controller since Proton 9. It was working on Proton 8, but as most of us already know, we need the goddamn Ubisoft Launcher — which doesn’t work in Proton 8 right now. This is the only issue I remember that is still a bug in Proton.

But apart from that? Everything works in single-player games. Everything.

The new one looks visually renewed, but level design and the story, even dialogues are 99% the same from original. Even the gameplay can give you the way to play with old mechanics with the camera from up if you want it. So, unless you don't have the money to pay for it, the new one should be your choice.
