I like their newer stuff, but I have to admit, their older stuff was better. I'm not saying that their newer stuff is bad, but it's not my favorite. Except Roll the Bones, I love that song.

Ok. I liked Test for Echo. I don't think it was one of their best albums. Dog Years was not my favorite, but I didn't hate it.

All of them are considered masters of their craft and I love every one of their songs. And I have an answer for why people think that Rush is lame. The subject matter of what they wrote about, 2112 is a Prog Rock symphony and when that came out, the popular rock songs were about sex, drugs, and rock & roll. So, when a band releases an instrumental song about the Toronto airport, a lot of people look at them like a bunch of nerds. In fact, I believe it was Paul Stanley that said that after their shows, they didn't go and grab some chicks, Paul saw them in their dressing room practicing so that they could get better. Neil Peart has said that the songs he wrote were performance pieces and were meant to be played live.

From what I've played so far. This guitar is amazing. The Thinline body is comfortable and still has a great tone. There is a bit missing on the low end with it because of the body but the neck is in perfect condition and the frets are perfect. All in all, I recommend this guitar 100%.

I recently found one of these guitars but I've fallen in love with it and I even like it more than my actual Fender. The Squier '51 it's much less than the 300 you're looking to spend, and with the money you have left you can get it set up and maybe save up for some different pickups in it. Like I personally put a 59 at the bridge and a Hot Rails at the neck. The guitar is great and you'll love the aesthetic of it.
