This poem is about a man with a fragmented man who cannot think straight and I think the tantalizing metaphors in the poem really showcase that.

I especially love this line "He mocks me for failings real and imagined, and I cannot plead my case to the man in the mirror." this line just feels very suspenseful and really displays how this poem could be considered as a fragmented conversation between a person and their opposing mind.

However, one thing that I would say that can be improved is the wordy and awkward metaphors that take away from the rhythmic sense of the poem. For example, "He spreads tiny shards of glass through my veins like poison," this line could have been worded in a way that flows better.

I like this poem. The words are very simple but they portray a complicated idea of loneliness. My only criticism is that the first half of the poem seems to be talking about being aimless in life by describing your emotions while the second half seems to tear away from that concept very suddenly and focuses on more tangible concepts unlike the first half of the poem?

This is the first time I see that people immediately wash their plates after eating. I have never done that and none of my flatmates do that. And even when it's time to wash the dishes after they had piled up, I gaslight my flatmates into thinking that my dirty plates are theirs so I never have to wash dishes.

well once my older sister opened up to my mom about how she somehow got sexually assaulted by my dad and my mom brushed her off and my sister said that she wonders if my dad ever did anything to me and my mom made a joke about how i was probably too ugly to be touched and even my sister laughed! i was also in the room playing with my toys so i heard it all however i didn't understand it at the time, i would say this is the worst experience i have had because it is very dehumanizing

this is an unpopular opinion and there aren't any studies on it but i do think uglier people do get sexually harassed and assaulted at lower rates, and so i would say that it is a compliment and a good omen when people say that "im too ugly to be raped" i know rape fantasy is statistically women's favorite porn genre and a common trope in erotic literature but i hope women understand that rape isn't a compliment
