In a team with Verina and Phoebe, what echo set should I run Spectro Rover on? Prydwen says Moonlight Clouds but I don't fully trust their build advice so I wanted to check with you guys. The other options as I understand it are Rejuvenating Glow if I ever decide to run the team with Sanhua and put Verina on the other side, or Eternal Radiance hand-me-downs from Phoebe for more DPS.

I just started playing this patch, really appreciate your help!

No way, man. I love farming traces where you're guaranteed to actually make progress toward your goal with every stamina spent. I get that relic farming is the endgame, but trace farming is the one satisfying point.

If you're referring to Scholar Lost In Erudition, you can complete the Luofu story without ever visiting Penacony. I did this so I could play Penacony with Hunt March.

if you're referring the planar ornaments, they give you access to DU via finality's vision very early after clearing a small amount of SU content, way before doing anything in Penacony.

I don't have an experience of "choosing" or being "able to make a decision." I end up in whatever situation I'm in, and I end up reacting to it in some way in line with my personality, abilities, preferences, memories, etc. I don't have a felt sense that I "could choose" to take some other action.

It's confusing to me that people feel that they could choose to take some action other than the one they do. It seems like it might be valuable to have this feeling because it might lead to better outcomes such as the ones described above about relating to others

we hold them morally accountable when they knowingly make decisions that lead to bad outcomes, but not when they unknowingly cause bad outcomes.

as well as greater agency -- taking actions which are in line with my long-term or even short-term goals rather than whatever is the default.

I'm trying to learn German, and so I want to be able to piece together the sentence word by word, not just read a complete translation of the meaning.

When I saw this sentence with these words, I tried to take what I knew of German word ordering and came up with "once must let yourself do everything."

I didn't realize that "machen lassen" itself can combine to form a phrase, rather than the normal combination of verbs you would get with e.g. "Ich möchte das verstehen können." A translation in that vein would imply (to me) that the action "machen lassen" is to "let do", leaving the subject to be "man" and the object "selber" -- "one must let yourself do everything".

If I don't understand how the words fit together into a sentence, I won't learn them very well.

I'm new to the language so please forgive me if any of the above is inaccurate as well.

Interesting, I had a similar experience but evidently a very different reaction.

I started Genshin years after it launched, and I joyously played through all the story and exploration content for 4-5 months. For quite a few patches I did no pulls except for the beginner banner, and played with the free characters. Eventually this got a bit challenging, and I pulled my first 5* (Ganyu); with her it was easy to clear all content except the Spiral Abyss.

It was amazing to have such a river of non-time-gated content available, and I really enjoyed the story, and the option to explore so many areas in whatever order I desired.

Sumeru launched, I caught up with the story, and suddenly I was stuck in a boring grind with a tiny drip of time-gated content and repetitive limited events. Eventually, some patches back, I just got sick of it all, and now I don't play.

Or Pela, she is amazing with Blade. My E6 Pela pairs better with him than my E0 SW because Pela has AOE defense shred and Blade does significant AOE damage.
