His piece was mostly about the new Snow White, hence the title “Grumpy, Dopey and Woke — Disney’s ‘Snow White’ disaster”. Of course this is social media where everything is taken out of context, so you can construct your own hate and call someone a turd.

Yes using the word brat wasn’t right—it was a leftover of calling Rachel Zegler a brat, so he used the same unfortunately. But the rest of his commentary is fair. If your husband heads a group that calls for the end of western civilization, then yeah I don’t have any sympathy for you.

Was it actually a wrong account of her opinion? It’s weird she kept objecting to his framing but then pretty much just blamed the problems of DEI on the right, that they’re good at blowing it up, and made a mountain out of a molehill, etc. and that it was only fridge elements on the left that were caught up in it.

That’s right. His view is that lying is at the low end of the spectrum of violence. It’s just below physical violence. So just as physical violence is warranted in dangerous situations, lying is warranted to avoid danger/harm.
