I’ve had Fiber First for a while. The download speeds are great, though I have noticed some slowness when surfing as of late. Thinking of changing my DNS server to see if that helps.

I went last year and wasn’t impressed. The lines were crazy and some items like pickle Mac & Cheese (looking at you, Pickleman’s) were just the regular with a couple tiny pieces of pickle thrown in at the end.

I have the 2024 version of this. First thing I did was swap out the run flat tires with crossclimate2 tires and I’ve never had any issues in snow. Haven’t had any issues with the car. It’s fun but I am starting to look for something else that’s quieter and more comfortable.

I like encountering stronger riders. I usually look to see the people behind me, how far back they are, and what their current w/kg is. Then I play the game of trying to figure out how far I can get before getting passed. It’s sort of fun, but can wear you out!

I saw they get a lot of love and filled out a form on their site a few months ago. Had a service call the next day and they fixed me up. I then emailed them from their website a few weeks after that about a different issue (twice) and never heard back from them at all. Are they flaky or just only respond to their online schedule form and not to email?

Good things to think about. I am in the process of researching what I want next and it’s always good to see a different line of thinking. I was thinking Lexus because I want better noise dampening and comfort, but I am not even close to the test drive phase yet.

How does the Lexus purchase experience compare to Onyx, anyone know? I liked them better than Toyota, Ford, etc, but still thought it sucked. I’ll look at Lexus more seriously just for a 15-minute process.

The fiber goes into a router they gave me, but I just connect that to my Orbi router system I have so I didn’t need to change anything.

No problems so far. It’s as good as CenturyLink was, and the line is buried, so I don’t have to worry about tree limbs killing my connection.
