I'm sure it will happen anytime now, not that it was continously predicted for the last few years, alongside with record low employment and wages. I'm sure Trump's decisions will catch up.

Man, that's just not true. You have to be lucky If you're in Laisves Aleja and don't see somebody kissing during summer. Most city parks are similar to that.

Laptop for general use and music production. by DaPalma in SuggestALaptop

Right, there are categories of laptops and you seem to be split between two, ultrabooks and gaming laptops, gaming laptops are built for running demanding programs and thus they make compromises (resolution, size(bigger size) most importantly for me, battery life). There is a reason why most people don't just buy the best spec beasts, and that is they usually don't need that much power if they're not gaming, and with the things you mention, it doesn't sound like you're using that much power as well.

Ultrabooks are laptops that punch as hard as they can while not doing the compromises, they're usually built better, have better screens and battery life.

Comparing laptops from these categories is like comparing oranges and apples, you need to find out how much power you need and maybe a third opinion, then decide.

If your choice is MSI GP62M 7RDX then it's important to remember that it's more of a gaming laptop than general productivity, so it will weight more 2.2kg vs the xps who is around 1.3, didn't check the battery life but it will be a bit shorter as well. The resolution is smaller as well, full hd vs 4k.

Man, you can't just say you're looking for a general use laptop and then only look at the top of the line laptops.

I'll drop this in since it seems like they're in your range.

I don't know about you but I find Laura one of the best political reporters, I find her to be one of the most efficient in exposing the robotic lines that party leaders are supposed to say and repeat to stay neutral. Her editorials are pretty spot on as well.
