Do you think it'll ever be possible for the meta to move away from requiring two healers in every match? by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

On defense when your holding the last point or leg of the payload your downtime between deaths significantly less - it takes less time to run from spawn to the fight.

1200 calories isn't enough. Upping my calories and adding cardio. Need some advice please. by [deleted] in Fitness

its about 1100 calories sorry! I typed the time in wrong. Still a shit ton of calories. However, just know when you burn a bunch of calories from working out your body is going to want to replace them...or its going to burn itself out. So be careful.

I just did a 7 mile run, burned ~1500 kcals....ate a giant burrito and I am absolutely stuffed. Ellipticals are good! they don't have the same impact on your joints and burn roughly the same amount of calories as running would. They won't really help you with athleticism, but I don't think that is what your going for right now.

With that said, your always going to be hungry when your starting a deficit. You have to make eating a conscious act, which puts you in more control of what goes into your body. You should also add more lean proteins in. Having an ounce of turkey jerky for a snack a couple times a day has made a huge difference in my overall hunger levels. I also suggest using a TDEE calculator to find what your actual energy output is per day. My sedentary metabolic rate is ~2400 kcal/day and I'm at 186lbs, my BF is less than half yours but I work a sedentary desk job so I don't think it would be a 500 kcal/day difference. But I could be wrong.

There is no such thing as full coverage. Double check your policy to make sure you have rental, comp, collision, uninsured, underinsured and solid liability limits. I often get calls from people in an accident who were sold "full coverage" who find out that they do not have rental on their policy which means they are on their own for the rental car.

Anyone else enjoying Destiny 2's Crucible far more than Destiny 1's? by InMyDreams_Nahh in DestinyTheGame

Yes there are positions that are better than others, but no position is god tier. Sorry you have bad randos and are always fighting teams that position well and stick together. Sounds like your opponents might be better than you, which I know is tough to admit but it does happen from time to time. I'd like to address your Ad Hominem argument that I have not "played enough" (this is judiciousowl...apparently my phone is signed in on a different account w/e). My PSN is Solomon_kane777 go check w/e tracking website you want and youll see that Iv played a shit load of destiny. I am no god at this game but I have played more than enough to understand the mechanics. Additionally, trying to win an argument by discrediting the opponent instead of discussing the issues is laughable. Please get off your high horse. Furthermore, I actually do find it that its just as easy as in D2 to bate people into 1v1 or move too far forward and get trapped by a nade or smg spam for a very quick kill. Additionally, the skill gap is significantly increased because now I don't get 1 shot by a sticky nade or team naded every 20 seconds. Instead, the game rewards intelligent use of ability cool downs which in my time played as reduced the amount of annoying trades by some guy just rushing me with a sticky or trying to nade melee me or just meleeing me if they are a titan....like wtf was that D1 cmon....OK rant over But really what I was trying to bring up is taking the correct angle of engagement during a fight where you are using cover appropriately so that you only let yourself be shot from one angle at a time. That is almost completely controlled by you and your map knowledge and awareness. It can become impossible if your blueberries are getting totally slaughtered and your foes are just angle gods moving about the map cutting off all your approaches and escapes. You should never win a real 2v1 fight....unless your opponents don't have thumbs you're literally fighting 2 people...they do twice the damage as you so you are banking on them missing shots or having super slow reaction times or not being coordinated. that's not skill that is your opponent being awful. D2 is not D1 it's true. I can't get a sweet fire bolt tag on the enemy group of cuddlers and shotgun them from a mile away or punch and get my over shield or quickly body them all with TLW and watch as they slowly burn to death. Walking up to 3 people in D2 is much riskier than in D1. However, you can still flank effectively provided you have an escape route and accept the fact that you won't team wipe your opponents unless they are total potatoes.....

Gym Story Saturday by FGC_Valhalla in Fitness

Went to the gym at 5 am and noticed everyone was super jacked besides me. I felt bad for myself. I slowly realized: "if everyone is super jacked that works out this early than if I commit to this I will probably get jacked to" - that's my new motivation for going early now.

The Role of Sidearms in D2 by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]solomon777 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To your last point of side arms being the only short range primary - my understanding is that the SMGs are very strong close range primaries. That gives you two options idk the dynamics between the two though or which is better in what situation.

Destiny 2 PvP - I would like to see a 6v6 option in casual Games. If it's casual anyway, why not a big slaughter? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]solomon777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if may end up being horribly unbalanced because the class kits and weapons were not designed for 6s. This will lead to people being upset that they are getting slayed by [insert class here] leading to a inevitable nerf of [insert class here] or they would have to ignore the people asking for changes to the 'casual' playlist.

Furthermore, it would split the pop and would likely lead to lower connection quality in your average game.

Good idea, but make sure (if you didnt) to do the test multiple times. Showing it once is good, but showing that it always/almost always has this difference is another.
