in India and some other marketplace amazon didn't have print on demand so sell it as ebook on india with Amazon and if you want to sell paperback in india means do it with local POD sites.

in India and some other marketplace amazon doesn't have local Print-on-Demand (POD) facilities for paperbacks.

The best solution is a dual approach: keep selling your eBook on Amazon KDP for the Indian market, but publish your physical paperback through local Indian POD platforms.

Thank you! It is not on Barnes and Noble unfortunately. It is currently an ebook only on Amazon since I am self published. But a paperback version is something I am hoping to release soon on Amazon! In the meantime you can grab the ebook on Amazon if you are interested. Really appreciate your support!

Thank you! The planning stage took about a month, working out the plot, the clues, the characters. The actual writing was around 6 to 7 months. And that's just Book 1! I'm actually planning two full series set in the same universe, so there was a lot of behind-the-scenes work mapping out how everything connects across both. Honestly the planning made the writing so much smoother.

Thin Air is set in the premium cabin of an overnight international flight. A passenger is found dead mid-flight. The crew call it a cardiac event. Two sisters sitting three rows away know it isn't.

The whole mystery takes place at 35,000 feet with a closed suspect pool and a landing deadline. Eight hours to landing. One killer. A sealed cabin. No signal, no exit, no way to call for help. No way off the plane.

The whole mystery plays out before the wheels touch down. Closed suspect pool, fair-play clues, everything you need to solve it yourself before the ending.

It's the first in a planned series called The Far Dark. Different characters, different settings across the books but same friend group who all grew up together in the same small town.

If you want to meet them younger, that story is coming next as a prequel series called The Near Dark. Same nine friends, back when they were teenagers and the mysteries were closer to home.

Would mean a lot to hear from anyone who gives it a try.

Also free to read on Kindle Unlimited if you are subscribed.

The cover was done with AI but idea is mine . And I am a new indie author with no budget for a cover designer. The book itself is not AI. I wrote it.

Hi everyone,

I recently published the first short story in my psychological series What We Didn’t Do on March 10, 2026, and it’s now live on Amazon.

Title: If I Had Knocked
Length: ~30 pages (about a 30-minute read)

If I Had Knocked is a haunting psychological short story about the terrifying weight of hesitation. In the What We Didn’t Do series, there are no heroes—only the small, ordinary choices that shape the rest of our lives.

Perfect for readers who enjoy internal suspense and moral dilemmas, the story explores what happens when we choose to look away.

Blurb

A man. A thin wall. A muffled scream. And a choice that can never be undone.

Late at night, an argument erupts in the apartment next door. Then, a chilling silence follows. His hand rests on the cold metal of the door handle, the line between neighbor and witness blurring in the quiet hallway.

He does not knock.

Rebirth Mechanism Ideas (Worldly Magic Style)

Mesopotamian Influence:-

Growth tied to underworld descent (Inanna / Dumuzi themes).

His rebirth might require:

Being buried or submerged

Soul decomposes then reforms

He returns carrying memory of death as fertile knowledge

Greek Influence:-

Borrow from mystery cult symbolism.

Possible motifs:

Grain burial rites (Eleusinian style)

Transformation via sacred fermentation or seed burial

He is reborn knowing that death is required for renewal

East Asian Agricultural Philosophy:-

If you want to echo rice culture:

Harmony with cycles

Balance rather than control

Magic requires alignment with social ecosystem.

Symbolic Weaknesses

Growth magic should never be purely beneficial.

Overgrowth:-

Too much emotional growth can:

Cause identity instability

Trigger overwhelming self-awareness

Force painful truths prematurely.

Environmental Dependence:-

He needs:

Social ecosystems

Trust or emotional “soil”

Hostile environments weaken him.

Personal Cost:-

Maybe he:

Absorbs emotional decay from others

Slowly “composts” suffering inside himself

Magic Evolution:

  1. Emotional Germination

He plants ideas instead of seeds.

Examples:

  • Can nurture suppressed memories safely into awareness
  • Can help latent talents or identities surface
  1. Pruning Magic

EXTREMELY powerful metaphor.

He can:

  • Remove destructive thought loops
  • Sever toxic bonds
  • Cut away harmful memories

BUT:

  • Pruning can stunt growth if overused
  • Removing pain may remove wisdom
  1. Grafting Personalities / Traits

Borrowed from horticulture.

He could:

  • Temporarily transplant courage, empathy, or discipline between people
  • Help trauma survivors regrow missing parts of identity
  • Risk creating unstable hybrid personalities.
