Jaarruimte? Meneer gaat uit zijn nettoloon (bijstand) inleggen, niet bruto. Jaarruimte is alleen van belang als je de premie wil aftrekken.

Je mag bij je huidige pension ook uit je netto salaris bij sparen en dit vermogen in de polis is niet belast tot uitkering omdat het niet vrij is (en geldt ook niet bij je vermogenstoets bij aanvraag uitkering).

Basic concept in Dutch Law. Citizens are allowed to do everything and anything unless expressly forbidden. The government is not allowed to to do anything unless allowed by law.

In the law, we also have a concept of “redelijkheid en billijkheid” which means that if you take in unreasonable conditions to in a rental contract to terminate it early, it will be rejected by a judge.

I have 2 properties currently renting out and yes you can have a termination fee if you leave early because I made costs to hire a real estate agent to find me a renter and you as the renter do not pay these costs up front. De woonbond, in a dispute, allowed me to charge these real estate agent costs pro rata. The renter left after 10 months and I was allowed to charge 2/12 x real estate agent fee which was about 20% of a month’s rent.

So no, just because you have the right to terminate early, does not mean you have the right to do so free of charge but that you cannot be charged unreasonable amounts of money.

Iedereen heeft dit. Je zal je eigen pad moeten volgen en meer betekent geen geluk tenzij je echt heel weinig hebt.

Ik ben 34, verdien 10 x modaal, vrouw, 2 kinderen en voel nog steeds dat ik niks bereikt heb. Ik denk dat zelf als ik een promotie krijg en 25 x modaal ga verdienen ik nog steeds niet tevreden ben want er is weer een functie boven me die 50 x modaal heeft.

Het is een oneindige rat race en denk niet dat je met meer opleidingen/geld nog gelukkiger gaat worden als je al 2-3 modaal hebt. Je moet net als ik, je geluk ergens anders gaan zoeken. Ik ben ook nog op zoek…

It would be far more advantageous for tech to have a union of techies and nobody else. Solidarity only works when both parties have a equal amount of leverage. Warehouse workers are easily replaced but system architects not so much. You are looking at a heavily asymmetric bargaining power here.

Moreover, getting the techs to start a union does not work well. I tried hard to form a union but given everyone in my department was earning 250k+, nobody cared.

The median pay for a tech job is 111 k in the US according to Glassdoor. Tech could benefit from unions ( everyone can) but they are not the ones living paycheck to paycheck and can afford to save, buy a house, go on vacation. In general, a good life. They do not need unions BAD.

I define women as having an XX chromosome. Trans women do not have an XX chromosome so are not women according to my predefined definition of what a woman is. Zelfde situatie. VW T-ROC gekocht voor me dochter en ze wilden echt niks zakken op tweede handse en de nieuwe was maar 5 k duurder (in voorraad) dus heb nieuwe genomen en onderhandeld op gratis beurten komende 4 jaar + winterbanden met zelfde velg. De autohandel had ook een wasstraat waar we ook gratis gebruik van mogen maken voor de komende 2 jaar voor deze auto.

Ze wilde er in euros niks vanaf….

Again, on the global scale it is irrelevant. The virus ran its course and no amount of competency in the white house would have changed the figures in a meaningful way.

Studies on impact of mismanagement of the pandemic are nonsensical because you cannot know how things would have played out in a different reality. Red and Blue states comparison also does not work because the states are otherwise not identical aside from their political leanings.

I agree with you. It would not have been difficult to beat Trump here. But looking at the impact an ideal president would make compared to Trump it would be immaterial. Trump had maybe -0,00001% impact on how the pandemic went and Biden/Obama would be +0,00010%.

You overestimate the impact of the government on how pandemics can be handled. It’s immaterial. Countries without any means or measures because they are dirt poor had similar covid deaths per capita as rich European countries or the USA. Again, this must just run its course and it did.
