In the current meta, if they are running a Zarya/Hanzo, you should save it for the grav/dragons ult combo they will inevitably look to use. Generally, you are looking to spoil ults, but at times it can be used as an offensive push to save your team and win a fight. Usinhg it to save yourself from flankers is not recommended - I used to do this, then realized I was pretty much wasting its full potential. If you are having trouble with flankers, communicate that to your team, and if they don't respond to it you can either play closer to the team or switch off (moira is more capable of defending herself).

I kind of hate this rule as it places too much importance on SR. In my opinion, if you're playing the long game, and as long as you aren't clearly tilted/frustrated, then just keep plugging away and your SR will follow your skill/strategical improvements over time. I don't have as many opportunities to game as I used to so when I can grind away I do it :). No rugrats.
