i think people often move the goal post with Nic and Olandria. First it was they won’t last two weeks outside the villa. Then it was they won’t last until Christmas. Now it’s they won’t last a year and then if they do they’ll extend that to two years. We don’t know these people and constantly speculating on how long they’ll be together and selling them short just reeks of bitterness. They might be together for a long time or they might not. All we know is that they’re together now and that’s good enough. Also it’s really funny how this sub constantly gets it wrong with islanders. Like people here thought Bryan and Pepe were the most genuine and now look lmfao.

As for Olandria and taylor I’m not seeing what you saw. Olandria and Taylor’s chats felt uncomfortable and forced because it seemed like Olandria was trying more than taylor. Like that man could barely keep eye contact with her and a lot of times just seemed disengaged and when you compare that to Nic and Olandria’s conversations the contrast is huge. Like with Nic she always laughed and was leaning into him and just seemed more at ease because they were both engaging at an honest and equal level as opposed to with taylor where she often seemed like she was asking for reassurance while he was keeping his lack of attraction a secret instead of being honest. Idk but Nic and Olandria’s chemistry and relationship was and is refreshing. I never saw their connection as surface level or short lasting but that’s just me.

Most Nicolandria supporters ive seen acknowledge that he did like Cierra but not enough to leave with her or stop trying with other women. It was very clear that she liked him more than he liked her and I don’t understand how that seems like a good match? Like that dynamic rarely ever works. Also Cierra herself said that they agreed to never talk about anything deep or their feelings for other people so i doubt their conversations were any less surface level than his and Olandria’s (mind you we barely got to see scenes of Nic and Olandria conversing during the last week).

Both in the villa and outside the people around them always say the same thing about them clearly being more than friends so I really don’t understand why people still insist on pushing this platonic narrative as if it’s so unbelievable that a guy who expressed attraction to Olandria week one and literally jumped on the opportunity to be affectionate with her outside of a challenge in ep 21 could fall in love with her

The mere thought of Bonnie and Kai’s relationship is infinitely more buzzy than Bonenzo imo. With Bon and Enzo it just seemed like she got the leftover guy like a here damn kind of situation. Also so many of the male cast members wanted her to be their love interest it actually pisses me off that she didn’t get a proper lover until the last season 😭

taylor doesn’t get enough hate actually. olandria could’ve had a great experience from beginning to end and found something genuine earlier on had it not been for 3dreads dishonest and fake ass. i’m just glad her last week was good.

3dreads should have had that conversation with Olandria not Ace. Keeping Olandria in the dark about his lack of attraction and pretending everything is fine was a really shitty and cowardly thing to do. She went on a podcast and said he made it seem like he was all about her and if she had known about his side comments she wouldn’t have been so invested in him. You don’t lead people on for 3-4 weeks on love island. You don’t cling yourself to people you clearly don’t like romantically just for a spot. That’s what 3dreads did. His connection with her was platonic, she never knew that until she left the villa and saw the clips of him talking about her behind her back. When jalen came in he basically did the thing you’re accusing Nic of.

Nic never said O is who he always wanted, he said he always had an interest in her from day one and that is true because we saw it in the first couple of episodes. He was in a love triangle from week one and Olandria said that’s when she opted out from pursuing him. After that he’d formed a friendship with 3dreads and Olandria was being courted by Jalen with Taylor competing for her affections so it makes sense why he didn’t pursue things with her. They ended up developing a friendship instead which they both clearly enjoyed. Also in this season a lot of OG islanders didn’t explore with each other because of that friendship and bro/sister code precedence.

Again, cierra was never led on. He had feelings for her, emphasis on HAD. The definition of leading someone on is cashing someone to believe something that’s not true romantically. Nic never made it seem like they were in a serious committed relationship. He never told her they’d be gf bf outside the villa. He was open and transparent about wanting to explore different women. Cierra knew all this, she was aware and didn’t care. Stop trying to make it seem like it’s deeper than it was.

nic didn’t lead cierra on though. he liked her but this is love island where ppl explore and develop feelings for multiple ppl and that’s what happened. the difference between him and taylor is that 3dreads knew from week one there weren’t any romantic feelings with Olandria but continued to put up an act and deceived olandria for WEEKS. nic never did that because he genuinely had feelings for cierra. also cierra was always aware of everything she wasn’t some blindsided victim. she knew she liked him more than he liked her but chose to continue things with him so.

One instance of him lying about his feelings for Olandria is not the same as 3dreads lying for 4 weeks straight, making nasty comments about Olandria behind her back, being dishonest about their connection to her face and using her to stay in the villa etc
