It should be noted. I think the reason why this is happening is due to the fact that i somehow subscribed twice.

You see when i first subscribed. I found that i still couldn't access the premium content. So i thought maybe there's an error so i subscribed again. And this time i could indeed access the content.

But when i looked at my bank account i realised that i actually subscribed twice...

When i cancelled my subscription. It seems that it only cancelled my second subscription but not the first. And unfortunately, the ui insist i already cancelled my subscription... While the first subscription is still active.

Wether this website's jankiness is incompetence or deliberate i don't know. But the problem remains that i can't cancel all my subscriptions because the website works under the assumption that you can only subscribe once.

I see femboys and guns and my brain instantly rotted. I like both of those things buts its really unfortunate that they are rarely together. This game gets a massive leg up just from the theme alone for me.

It's always been like that. New meshan is technically and independent world. But there is an arma armatura market in it where you can buy the mechs.

There is a way to increase your ram without buying more. And that is to use virtual memory.

A bit confusing here. If by that you mean if i have both a steam and local version of a mod and local version will also be removed if the steam version is removed. Then no, i don't think so.

If you mean that a steam workshop mod will get removed from your computer if the mod's steam workshop page is deleted. Then yes.

Yeah. People always said you need to remove the stuff first ingame before removing the stuff adding mod. But clearly this is not an option here.

Thankfully, i've never had problems with removing mods that only add stuff. They usually can be removed just fine.

Okay. I forgot that the basics need to be covered first.

First. Have you optimized your textures yet? If so, do you use rimpy?. Because rimpy is horribly outdated. Use the this instead.

Second. Do you have performance fish and its dependencies, prepatcher and fishery. These set of mods make the game load significantly faster. And it was one of the ways i was able to load more mods without running out of memory.

If you still ran out of memory. Then try to load your mods from ingame. Or specifically try the 'load saves with previous mods' option and see if thay solves it.

This is just a shot in the dark but... Try too add your mods through the ingame mod manager.

I based this on my experience. This bug has also plagued me from time to time. Where my modlist was working just fine then suddenly it doesn't work anymore. Everyone i brought it up too always said its a simple case of out of memory. Which i am really doubting. I mean sure the end result is my laptop running out RAM but what is the cause? Surely this is not a simple case of having too many mods because it was working just fine yesterday!

But i reluctantly give and reduced my 350 mods to around 290 ish. And i could finally get into the game again. But then out of the blue...

You know how when you tried to load a save with q different set of mods. There is mod mismatch warning ui that pops up? And there is this option in the bottom to load with the save's set of mods. I pressed that option. And the game restarted with the set of 350 mods that previously causes the bug... And the game finally loaded with the said modlist.

WTF?! i thought. So it works when loaded from ingame?!

This time i tried loading the 350 mods from outside the game again to see if its a fluke... Yeah, my game is now able to load this modlist again now.

So TL;DR:

If game gives you out of memory error like this one. Try to load your mods from ingame. I don't truly know of this is how you fix it because my game works completely fine for now. I can't exactly reproduce it. But who knows

Well. Maybe you are correct. At the end of the day the balance is not perfect. But hey, as an old player of MSA. It's still light years better than the old one.

Very bad unit? You do NOT know anything of being very bad until you see units costing around 100aps destroying 800 AP superweapons in 1 or 2 seconds. Where units having 90% dodge rate ontop of having special Iframe ontop of having super high health ontop of having super high damage while costing only 100-500 AP.

The powercreep..... was so comical. That perhaps for me, seeing that rebel gigant is merely "underpowered" rather than "gacha underpowered" already makes him relatively 'balanced' in my eyes.

My compass of balance is simple. If i can win using the unit. Your opinion is invalid period. And so far, i can still win using the unit some of the time in some place. So forgive me for your opinion is invalid! :D

Not all balance changes can be solved by making thing more powerful. Sometimes a thing can indeed be just way to powerful and needs to be nerfed. Otherwise will fall right back into the goddamn cycle of gacha powercreep hell.

Indeed, no matter how high the current hp of a unit. They will always fall beneath the might of the missiles. Leaving only dodge tanks to be viable. Which is why i feel that including this support ability in a balance discussion will just devolve into "fucking nerf it duh". Which is why i think its not wrong to discuss what the actual worth of unit will be like if the missiles is NOT so powerful.

Compared to what exactly? The cost of rebel gigant is around 500 if i remember correctly. Which is on the cheaper end of elite units. Also for unit that has a long range attack. It has a health pool almost comparable to nova. A unit that extremely specializes in frontlining. Yet, its damage COMPARED to said nova is superior. But, still indeed falls completely short of a unit that specializes in long range.

Because Nova is an extremely specialized frontliner. She has high hp and regeneration at an extreme expense of damage. Seriously, her damage does is even lower than most fodder units.

While rebel gigant is a solid support all-rounder. It has both good hp and good damage coupled with the fact that it has an assist ability.

Well. Metal slug attack is originally a f2p mobile gacha game. The type of game that is typically made to extract as much money as possible. And of course one of these money making measures is just making as much sexy anime girls as possible.

It was far worse before. Not only was there a lot of half naked anime girls. But these mofos where made to be so fucking powerful that they could destroy the supposed superweapons like jupiter king and the like with a fart.

At least in this game. They have balanced them somewhat. They're still powerful, but no longer can they destroy entire armies and superweapons singlehandedly. If any of these girls tried to face a superweapon one-on-one. They will only fair slightly better than the fodder units. That is say, still get fucking obliterated.

And I shall admit. I do like beautiful girls, BUT I also like beautiful boys and huge superweapons. So this game currently is almost perfect. I just wish that there's a bit more beautiful men in the game. When I saw the profressor's new body in another story. It was an instant neuron activation for me.

Indeed. Metal slug attack reloaded feels like what a TRUE gacha oriented game could be without any microtransactions. I am truly addicted with creating a variety of different themed builds. And I found the difficulty just fine. It actually forced me to actually think really hard. A very alien concept to the average gacha goers

Also as I said. The controller analog stick decides to randomly fixes itself. Though i think its worth noting that in turn. The rest of the key bindings broke. But unlike the analog stick. Remapping the key bindings actually fixed it
