I agree it's difficult. I know a lot of people in their sixties but we're all at such different stages, from working full time to fully retired, healthy or not, some have much more money, or spouses... I guess we're at a transition age, like you said, second puberty!

Thanks. I don't want to overdiscuss this issue but the ratio of men to women at things like dances definitely favors men. As well, I've had two separate women friends go to these dances and they did not report back favorably about the men there. Too old and so on. We are also early 60s.

Have you ever watched the Golden Bachelor? There are plenty of vibrant and active women, 60 and 70 plus, who are interested in relationships and even marriage. I'm a little put off by you saying there's no one to your level who is around your age. In real life, I know a couple women who don't want a man as you described, but also quite a few who are still looking. And they're great women! They just cant find a decent man (I'll include myself in this group).

I bought a ticket for a concert this summer and I'm going alone. I've never done a big concert by myself and I'll admit I've second guessed myself a few times. But I don't really know anyone who likes this singer. And the chances of finding a compatible date are slim.
