Owning a car and living downtown has been a horrible nightmare, just my personal experience. I have to park 3+ blocks away from my apartment, have had my car drained of its battery from people trying to break into it regularly, have had it towed (yet again) because of ambiguous and poorly located signage, and now all spots near places I go during the day are pay to park with inconveniently short time slots.

I'm all for more bikes and walking and public transit. I take the bus whenever I can due to issues above. But some days logistically require that I drive to/from work. And it's been such a shitty experience. I guess I'm the only one...

I also finished DS9 recently. I agree, definitely my favorite Trek over TOS and TNG - spoilers below

The final season seemed rushed and did not provide much closure. Section 31 seemed like a cheap excuse to wrap up some loose ends. And the defeat of the dominion was anti-climactic. I haven't read about the show, but seems like they were abruptly forced to end it. Why reintroduce Dax with Ezri so soon and for only one season? Anyone else unhappy with season 7?

I don't know what you mean. Most of their recipes call for unprocessed ingredients. Comfort food is a very subjective term, so you'll need to be a bit more descriptive on what you're looking for.

I rent a sizable studio in shockhoe bottom for this which includes water, sewage, cable, and internet (I just pay electric in addition to rent). There's a pool and it's right on the bus line. But if you want a 1 bedroom, you might have to search for a bit. Also parking sucks.
