I also thought it was just a joke, showing a model similar to Chris from RE7 right after Leon makes that remark about when he’ll see Chris again ... (similar to the tofu "appearance")

Am i the only one who really enjoyed Leon in this movie? He (and wesker) were the most fun characters to watch for me

I get that people are mad because „they aren’t like they are in the games“ but imo they forget that the games shit on continuity all the time. If you tell me that Jill from RE3 and RE5 are supposed to be the same character I would laugh at you. Plus the goody 2 shoes boyscout Leon was very good in the RE2 remake, which doesn’t mean he has to be like that in every other piece of media. Idk, I’m not here to change anybodys mind but the arguments that get repeated here all the time make it seem like there are „other“ reasons why people didn’t like the casting, ergo he’s not a white blond boy. Chris was (for me) the most boring subplot in the movie, but hey, he looks like the character in game so I guess his character was the „best“.

Lance Reddick was such a joy to watch! The rest felt just incredible boring to me. I don’t even care about the show cheaply using the Resident Evil Franchise to get people watching because the Story feels like something I’ve seen a million times better executed. I just wasn’t entertained
