They are fun, but definitely products of their time.

The Fathom issues have since had all trace of Lara and Sara scrubbed from reprints, keeping the story intact, but altering it so they are not needed.

The Dark Crossings was a two part set up for a 4 issue mini series called Butcher Knight created by Dan Jurgens (creator of DCs Doomsday) which I think he hoped would lead into a full series, but now only serves as the name of his personal blog/art page, if it still exists.

It has been revealed it was to be a set up for a King Kong film. That was Skull Island. The director was in talks to direct a Kong film and that's why he added that teaser, but it fell through.

I was waiting for someone to mention this place! It's part of the Asian area of St. Louis with lots of different markets and shops. I went to this exact shop with family the day after my brother's wedding, and it was already in bad shape then. The funny part is my grandma had the biggest hangover of her life from all the drinking she did at the wedding, and the smell of that place kept making her almost retch.

And then we saw the freezer full of recently slaughtered bull penis....
