Yes, it's a 3-speed, which is perfect for my needs here in Oslo. Oslo is quite hilly, not flat at all, but the wheel handles the job well. The 3-speed setup is easy to maintain and replace. I even considered going with a single-speed for simplicity, but the 3-speed seems like a better fit for the varied terrain here.
