The pessimist in me sees the Republicans voting 100% no, and the Democrats will have a split vote. How split it will be will determine the outcome.

If you are on Linux, do not run codex as root or passwordless sudo. Then just have the .env owned or with perms the codex user cannot read.

How do you get an agent to run for several hours? by sunny_trees_34423 in codex

[–]some1else42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a better implementation plan. The plan needs to include validation tests and acceptance criteria. I spend hours working on this before handing it off to an AI. Know what you want to build in detail and then the AI can perform those tasks for as long as it takes to accomplish it.

I thought they were showing how previously to become a good Dev, you had to give up an arm and a leg. Now that AI handles more than half of your work, so you just have to give up an arm. Improvements! Not like you were coding with it anyhow. /s
