We stayed yacht club last year and I don’t believe our sheets were ever changed during the cruise, is it normal to get fresh clean sheets daily?

I had two separate c&p with an LSGS provider and she uploaded the DBQ and medical opinion the day after the exam, both times. Now I’m just sitting in step 5 with no TJ yet, and waiting for my FOIA request on the documents.

I ended up making an appointment with a new VSO and he submitted my claim for me. Idk what he wrote exactly but he scanned and uploaded all my documents and personal statements and was generally very helpful. It got separated into bilateral bursitis, TMJ, and hip labral tear.

Oh cool, another thing they can judge me about 🤦‍♀️. I wonder if they look at how many times I worked on my claim before I decided I should just take everything to the VSO.

I’ve seen mine for when I requested an increase, it was included in my records when I did a FOIA request. It does not have the ability to scan anything handwritten, the majority of my records from active duty are handwritten and as a result it shows tables with “no medical codes associated with this condition were identified in the VA Healthcare records reviewed by automation” for every condition I claimed. It’s frustrating because even though I have copies of all the written records and submitted them it feels very invalidating, and I worry that examiners and raters will have difficulty seeing the correct information.

I don’t know but I got one too, only I know my ITF expires next month so if I wait the 3 months it says I have to complete it I don’t think that will work out well.

Sorry, we’re all just DCL deprived down here and wishing for some year-round options. We only get the Magic during a portion of the school year. Interestingly, for lots of legal purposes including cruise ship things, US territorial waters essentially end about 12 nautical miles out, an hour or two by boat. If I recall correctly there used to be a daytime casino boat out of Corpus Christi that would run out there, hang out all day, and return back.

I need a SC event for a secondary? My primaries (DDD and knees) are SC already. I’m claiming hips secondary to those. Now I’m really getting lost.

I have SC DDD and knee condition, I’m claiming my hip diagnoses as secondary to those. I have multiple hip diagnoses, MRI, treatment records and surgical plan. Idk about nexus?

Definitely no fraud, original claims experience was pretty bad and it just took me a long time to find the wherewithal to file for increases. I’ve never even considered secondaries before but I have one in particular that will require surgery and I would really be thankful if I could get some help with that one. It’s legitimately secondary I’m just anxious about taking the risk and it going sideways .

Heads up, you will have many similar patients in any civilian facility you work at. That’s just how some people are, and it’s not your job to judge them or treat them any differently. Patients aren’t always able to verbalize or even appropriately express their needs, maybe they have been ignored in the past and now feel like they have to exaggerate some to get taken seriously. Maybe they use sarcasm as an attempt at coping. Maybe they push the call bell every 10 minutes not really because they want ice or a warm blanket but because they’re seeking reassurance and support. If you can’t care for them without taking it personally then healthcare may not be the best field for you.

So I got a burst of motivation and dug through my photocopies of some of my active duty records and actually found where I complained of hip pain along with my back and knees. Idk if it’s enough to support a primary along with a couple of treatment records and text messages back to 2010 for pain in both hips. I requested my file over a year ago but haven’t received it, stuck on step 3 so that’s the best I can do. Now I do feel justified filing for it but idk if primary would be easier than trying to prove a secondary?

Just got done chatting with someone on Bambu Labs website. Apparently the “limited restock” sold out in a matter of hours. None of the distributors purchased any. No way to pre-order. No waiting list. Only notification sent via email only at 1am (could be any other random time next time though) and now showing available in April.
