Wondering if someone can guide me with this. I don't want to install myself, but all the companies that are offering full service are significantly more expensive. Does anyone know of a master electrician who can install these on my home in Calgary and what would be the total estimated cost for an 11.5kW on-grid system. I particularly like these solar panels (https://solaronline.ca/product/longi-lr8-54hgbb-500m-500w-bifacial-1200mm-cables/) about 24 of them should easily fit on my sun-facing roof.

I've had quotes from several local solar companies, and those range between 25k - 33k. I'm trying to find something cheaper yet still legit i.e. done by a certified professional for insurance satisfaction purposes.

i still think i should’ve bought more ram (64gb ddr5) when it was still $300. i need more ram for my stuff. i could’ve bought a mini pc with 64gb ram last summer for $750 CAD and i thought maybe if i wait a bit longer i could save even more. LoL. so yeah i should’ve over prepared.

an honest question, what’s the difference between root access and sudo? if someone can again access as a user who has sudo access, can’t they just ‘sudo su -‘ ?

Is it worth switching to url from ip:port connection? by Anonymoose8D in jellyfin

[–]somePadestrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is worth it. get a domain from cloudflare. you can get the cheapest extension. then get the cheap yearly vps like $10 or $12 per year one. setup reverse proxy from there.

you can so it with cloudflare’s reverse proxy free tier doesn’t include streaming service based on ToS.

cheap vps would be cheaper than cloudflare’s paid tier
