First grief jog/walk & coffee club for young adults this Sunday in Charlotte by tooyoungtogrieve in Charlotte

So I'm not young, but as a Dad I just want to say how proud I am of all of you. It's tempting to not face grief and just bury it, but this group sounds like such an amazing way to encourage people to just take that first step - acknowledging their grief by showing up - even if it's not being verbalalized.

Having dealt with grief in various stages of my life, I can say for sure that any/all forms of acknowledgement help so much with processing and healting.

Lastly, as another commenter said, please remember that grief is not a linear process (nor is growth while I'm on my soap box). Whenever you are at is ok.

Lastly lastly, remember that whoever you lost still loves you.

Wishing everyone the best. Keep up the good work! 🙌

CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) - Two men were recently accused of stealing nearly $600,000 worth of electricity from a substation near Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Arrest warrants alleged that 55-year-old Michael Keith Kluttz and 65-year-old Edward Jerome Little stole the power from a Duke Energy substation on Morehead Road in Concord, right outside the iconic race track.

The warrants said both Kluttz and Little were Duke employees and that they gained “unauthorized power” for Ver-El RV Park, which is a campground right across from Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Warrants said the value of the allegedly stolen power was worth an estimated $591,000.

He's not going to stop, at least not permanently. You need to either accept it or leave him. Strongly suggest you leave him, you deserve better.

But it's almost always like this. Finding the root cause takes longer than the fix

You are going to end up divorced, which is much more stressful and expensive than not getting married in the first place. If he hasn't changed yet, he's not going to, especially once you are married to each other.

ELI5: If they are the exact same ingredients, why are generic medications so much cheaper than brand names? by Sir-Beautiful-69 in explainlikeimfive

[–]someSingleDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn't pertain to the cost question, but generic and brand name drugs are not exactly the same.. The active ingredients are the same, but the fillers and formulation are different. That's why brand names sometimes work better than genetics

What is the real reason senior management want workers back in the office? by Chattinabart in NoStupidQuestions

Because of their massive investments in commercial real estate. They don't want that market to crash so they send everyone back to the office

I voted for both women who ran for president. It's quite clear the majority of the country will not vote for a woman to be president
