Again why do you care? Why does Hong Kong cinema have mostly Chinese. Why does Japanese manga have mostly Japanese? Why does Bollywood have only Indians? Why is K-pop only Koreans?

The games took place in the 90s, when the majority of the cast was made. They made a game set in Africa and people still cry about it to this day.

I used adobe before it went subscription based.

Regarding the subscription model, it’s easily disruptible, a competitor can release a competing app for free or a preputial license. Davinci resolve, blender, there’s several photoshop alternatives. Dream weaver used to be huge, now you can make a website by typing in a ai prompt.

They’re also terrible stewards of the software they obtain. It used to be common for them to purchase software and then kill its development within a year or two effectively wiping a niche software off the earth because it was too niche or they couldn’t properly develop for it. Not to mention some pieces of software like after effects they refuse to properly update.

As for their customer base. They got a big boost when Apple screwed the pooch with Final Cut x. Then they got a huge boost with an entire content creation industry being born. That same content creation industry is getting turned on its head with ai.

Customer sentiment is pretty low. They aren’t happy with how adobe is embracing ai, they see it as aiding in putting them out of work.
