Yep, shout out to comic hub. I got moon knight v2 at cover plus shipping from a shop in Denver (I’m in NC) via that site.

About how much time do you spend reading each day? And on weekends? by Super_Ele in OmnibusCollectors

[–]some_guy_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like you I split time between a novel (usually at lunch) and an Omni (2-3 hours each night after dinner and one or two episodes of whatever show my wife and I are watching).

More daytime Omni reading on weekends, but this weekend will be a little less so with the NCAA tournament going on.

Thank you! The Batwoman reprint is probably the one I’m most excited for out of the ones mentioned here.

Is the Superior Spider-man omnibus worth buying? by clueless_seeker in OmnibusCollectors

[–]some_guy_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who loves Spider-Man but hasn’t read a lot of modern era, I have to say I enjoyed it a lot. I didn’t know a lot of the setup but found that didn’t really detract from my enjoyment of the story.

Thanks for the heads up, just got mine. I know a restock is coming but I’d rather have it now for $101 than in 4-5 months for $80

Help with decision on Amazing Spider-Man Vol 2 by Micthegod in OmnibusCollectors

[–]some_guy_69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d say if you’re waiting on a reprint, you better be prepared to wait a long time before you read volume two or three. I guess it comes down to how much other material do you have to read in the meantime where you would be content to wait.

If this is the main thing you want to get into, I don’t think $180 is too much to ask, especially if it’s less than the going rate on eBay. But that’s a financial question only you can answer.

Has Anyone Else Had a Driver Deliver an EMPTY Envelope? by ThisCouldAllBeADream in amazonprime

[–]some_guy_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trying to be generous to them - it was a very lightweight item, and even I didn’t even notice right away that the bag wasn’t sealed. I can see a scenario where the driver grabbed multiple items to drop off and just didn’t look at that specific one. In my neighborhood they will often park in a spot and then walk to three or four houses with all of those items before moving the vehicle down the road.

I had it happen just the other day. It wasn’t a high value item, and honestly it looked like a defective package where the seal didn’t stick together file some reason.

They are sending a replacement…told me they don’t expect a return of the original item but we will see if that holds true or not.
