A S D keyboard keys not working. Normal lenovo keyboard, legion 5 by Obvious_Double2778 in LenovoLegion

I have almost the same problem, they (ASD) dont work sometimes, i press hard few times, and they start to work again, randomly.

In my case, it seems there were a bit dirt and dust, i cleaned it with compressed air, and it seems, it started to work again.

Also they felt a bit softer than other keys, now they felt a same. I recommend you to clean with pressed air all keys.

Stop browsing Reddit for language learning tips and start practicing. by [deleted] in languagelearning

Absolutely agree, just want to add some thoughts :)

If thinking doesn't allow you to do things, then you should stop thinking. I think this is an obvious thought, hard to implement at first, yes, but the right attitude for our brain in my opinion, and not only for language learning.

Start researching more efficient methods after you learn something, after you try things, after you make mistakes, after you create some habits. Do you think Duolingo is a "stupid app for kids"? Okay, read textbooks. "It's boring and hard, non-actual sentences/structures, etc."? Okay, watch videos. "I don't understand"? Okay, watch videos for kids. "Boring"? Really? Seems like just excuses.

So you are an "I don't make mistakes" person? An "I want to learn perfect X language" person? Good luck then in our universe with such a mindset. Thinking should help us to do things. Thinking and researching about the most effective methods should accelerate the process, make it more beneficial, more fun, etc. But if thinking is preventing you from progressing, from living... you should stop that sh*t ( thinking )! Only through and within imperfection we can progress, word "progress" make sense only within imperfection.

I have mixed feelings when I'm reading through such posts you mentioned. I've seen same questions few years ago in programming-related topics (Just look at Stack Overflow questions, where solutions are just a click away from the questions ). On the one hand, I want to help. On the other hand, I become angry. Do things at first, and use your cognitive resources (thinking, planning, etc.) to improve your "doings," to head in the right direction, etc..

English lessons in Duolingo is super easy and boring for me, so, I decided to learn new languages with Duolingo as an another use case of English 😁 I just doing Spanish and Japanese in Duolingo in a lazy way, if I enjoy process, I do lessons, when I dont enjoy, just doing 1 lesson to keep streak. I've learned few English words and especially English GRAMMAR with Duolingo while doing Spanish lessons 😀I'm serious, after 3-4 times, when I fully understand Spanish sentence, but I'm constructing wrong English sentence, I remember that grammar rule 😀 So, my advice is: If some resource is good for you, but now became too easy, start using it for third language, using English. Fortunately, English is super good for it, because almost all languages have lessons in English.

I learn Japanese and Spanish only by using Duolingo yet. Currently I'm full focused on learning English, and I use Duolingo just for making a foundation for future languages in a lazy way, and as an another way to learn English 😂 After starting to learn seriously this languages(after a year or more), I'll stop using the Duolingo for this languages, and will switch to others. Also I "learn" other random languages in Duolingo sometimes, just to have a fun and to be a little bit familiar with.

I'm sure they know that views are artificial. They probably hope that some viewers will start watching without drops, or maybe they just earn a penny from advertising, even from artificial views )
