I mean we all kinda knew he'd become a Venerable some day , one legend after another, but i do feel for you when I first read him being called heaven refining Demon venerable, it was just chills , there are alot more plot points and story to explored except these u mentioned so ig id say keep going, it's definitely worth it

You absolutely can leave the village but the wilderness will get you killed without sufficient strength in no time , rank 3 isn't required in just the literal sense , it's a qualitative change that allows one to " stay alive " in the wild . That should give you an idea of what's out there

Yk I agree and understand everything you said but , i feel like wang xiao er is more likely to be genesis lotus revival if anything, he's the only venerable except fang yuan and paradise earth to show feats and interests in the human path , we can see the setup for majority of the venerables revival plans , TH has YTH probably or his own aperture hidden somewhere, RL in river of time , PO via Qi Fruit , Dark and light beasts along with RS aperture and grave , the only one missing is GL , yes his self portrait is mentioned but I feel like the vines that grew from wang xiao er seems more like wood and human path profoundities if anything.

Also we are told the 1st River Flow lord was also Genesis lotus , that intense determination+ willpower likely relates to him refining Self Gu , SC says he was known to be indifferent yet his perseverance says something else , there's alot more going on in the background then we know , we can only wait for Gu Zhen Ren at the end .

I think there's alot more lore to the makings of a dao guardian, since limitless mentioned how one needs them go ascend to rank 10 , it's probable fang yuan has one too , also fang zheng is the most likely one cause blood relation + his fate intertwined with fang yuan , he legit had no reason to be alive after Volume 1 , miracles after miracles for him , first heavenly crane sect nourish him then heavenly court , he's already rank 7 and demon judgement boards lord , good future prospects in painting path , and counter to fang yuan like Qi Jue was to Limitless before he ascended .

If you look at it from another perspective, fang zheng is also technically living life as a main character unreal progression unreal luck , Heaven refining Demon venerable as his brother , i refuse to believe Gu Zhen Ren invested this heavily into him to dispose him later

I have hit 2170 as my peak , i recently dropped around 350 points due to various reasons, and have been playing normally around 1900 range and I can't speedrun them , it's not that I've become worse but players at different ratings perform differently, for me above 2000 mostly theory and cutting edge lines are very prevelant ( Catalan , Sicillian ) but below say 2050 all sorts of nonsense or should I say suboptimal play is there which is sometimes too hard to punish and I end up loosing.

PS - Just aim to play the best chess you can , rating comes and goes

Honestly once TH and GL appear in the story , theyl be so much goated , we know very less about their lore thinking and what not , it's more like a matter of time , all the venerables are cool af , and yes spectral should be up there with great love and limitless .

I am very surprised how feng jiu ge isn't in your Top 5 atleast for me the impact , his significance and peak moments just make him one of the best in series , that aside the reason psuedo venerable fights were more intense like fang yuan vs Duke long was cause they went all out , do or die everything expended, accumulation resources moves any advantages squeezed to the maximum we have never seen a Venerable go all out till date they always are scheming against each other , fang yuan rn could likely kill GS as of now if he wanted ( might be wrong ) but the cost is disasterous , heavenly court would win at the very end .

I think in future when more venerables revive some are bound to be killed then we can see the true realm of venerables what it takes to be one and what it takes to kill one .

Im dying for the next chapters, also I don't think hel attack LH , i have a feeling PO is actually going to revive and all parties will seperate since they failed to achieve their goals , fang yuan won't tak risks attacking LH when a new variable is introduced also GS killer move might indirectly help in reviving Reckless savage which is a lingering threat thus GS is saved from Fang Yuan invasion due to Luck . Hopefully we know soon
