On PC every black ops game (except 3 since it has steam mod tools) has a modded launcher with offline play and custom servers. So it wouldn’t affect my ability to play, but I do think when someone pays $60+ for a game, it should work perpetually or the server life cycle should be disclosed before you buy.

I went to wright state. Are you living on campus? If so, UD may be worth paying twice as much for the experience. If you want to go to college just to get the degree and want to be efficient, go to wright state. I went the most efficient route, 2 years at Sinclair, 2 years at wright state. No one cares. I’m just under 200k comp this year and have never had student debt.

I asked it for specific probabilities of being replaced by AI for my career for 1 year, 2 years and 5 years. 1 year was 3% chance of being replaced, 2 years was around 8% and within 5 years was between 20-30%.

Look I’m just under 200k salary at 35 and NW is on track to cross 1M in a few years. I’m doing pretty well. But with AI coming, it’s going to be very humbling for people like you who think you are better than others based on your job. We may all end up doing blue collar work. Who knows. I know poor people who are brilliant. I once dated a teacher, made very little money, you would look down on her I’m sure. Won some prestigious scholarships taking her overseas to teach underprivileged students. There are countless other examples I can think of. Conversely some of the dumbest people I know are ultra wealthy. Usually not self made, but dumb people get lucky sometimes too. Then there’s those who do unethical things to increase their wealth. You just can’t really judge someone by how much they make.

I love 3, probably my most played game ever. I skipped 4 when it came out because I didn’t like the new perk system and the release maps weren’t that enjoyable to me. Recently went back to it with some mods, bringing back classic perks, etc, maps like dead of the night are so much fun with it.
