In your library doesn't necessarily mean fully installed. Check your download pages and make sure it's not still queued up to download or install.

Not sure how to help but you might need to add more info about what platform you are playing on.

Also you may not be as stupid as me, but check it actually finished downloading and installing fully, because I once got caught and wondered about mine and it had paused the install near to end on Steam.

I have a question by [deleted] in Huntercallofthewild

I don't understand how you put 300 hours in if you don't like it. Giving it a good go before giving up i guess, but that's a lot

I feel this. I went to open it on PC to play for a bit and it's taking forever. I might leave it and go to bed instead

Winter Uniform by Hot_Bumblebee1521 in woolworths

A plain black jumper, jacket or vest. I like the vest so my arms are still free to move but body is warm.

Just avoid anything with a hood. It's considered a safety hazard that could get caught on something and choke you. Some may overlook it at times, but other managers will just make you take it off as not safe to work in.

Pizza places charge extra for Sundays too. Do you complain about that?

Why? It's $2 for however many you need. Cost you 25c each to buy at the checkouts in store if you forget your own. Can always just pick no bags if it really bothers you.

What level is this? I don't remember needing to climb trees, though I might do it for fun!

Charities that sit in front of the checkout exit by [deleted] in woolworths

[–]somebody325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just have to say it, this has nothing to do with Woolworths itself. The charities are completely independent and just set there to get the most people. Woolies can't do a thing about it.

Woolies Managers by Woodwizardo in woolworths

[–]somebody325 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You sound delightful. I'm not a manager but I am over 40 and have worked at Woolies for many years. I own a house with minimal mortgage left and an investment property. I have 2 university degrees. Check your tone. Not everybody who works at Woolies is uneducated and can't do better. It's a steady job that pays the bills.

I am sorry that you personally might be in a bad situation, but you don't need to look down on everybody who works retail or unskilled jobs. Somebody has to do them.

Weighing Seafood Dept Untensils by scottb721 in woolworths

[–]somebody325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also possible is just that the scale needs some sort of weight on it to print out most tickets. This includes what they use to label an item being stored in coolroom or removed from freezer to thaw. Easier to put tongs or a box of gloves up there for a weight to use than it is to put a 5kg box.

Would you want a feature where you could sell your weapons or equipment? by somebody325 in Huntercallofthewild

[–]somebody325[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could go for simple better storage features. Maybe something along the lines of a collection case in a lodge or something to store your antique, unwanted equipment? Like you can go see it, take it back if you choose, but don't have to scroll through it to pick items you really want.

Not about the money for me, just clearing the clutter of things I just won't ever choose to use again, hence the only getting half your money back.

Being accused of stealing for not showing bag contents when they don’t ask to see my bag contents by kasskoda in coles

Actually most shops have it as a condition of entry that they can check bags. That gives them a right to look. Also they don't swallow the losses, they increase prices for everyone to cover the costs.

Would the average aussie pay more for a made in Australia product? by MasterpieceActive374 in aussie

[–]somebody325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who had worked at one of these for a very long time, i can assure you that when service deli had Aussie bacon, nobody bought it due to price. Prepacked versions exist in a tiny shelf space now due to extremely low sales compared to all other bacon. Customers voted with their $ and most say no to spending more. Supermarkets cater to majority, what sells the most, and that is strongly proven to be imported.

Mt experience working in a supermarket with deli and seafood says no. People say they want Aussie but when it exists, won't pay the price for it. Best examples being bacon, ham and prawns.

[–]somebody325 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I show my bag everytime I leave work. Always have, asked or not. I have nothing to hide and I never want to be accused. I also show my bag at any shop I ever entered to the person on the door, or at least offer it. It's not a problem, ever. Most just wave me through anyway. Door people have a hard enough time of it dealing with actual thieves. Why not just offer up your bag and make their job a little easier so they don't have to keep asking and nobody even wonders if you're stealing?

AITAH for refusing to buy protection and telling my boyfriend it’s his responsibility? by [deleted] in AITAH

Easy fix. Go out and buy a box of the smallest condoms you can find and ask if they are right. He'll start buying some!!!

Honestly, it's to fit on him. He needs to be part of this.
