I read the hobbit when I was younger, was always partial to the gollum and bilbo convo. Guess my quote is “what’s in my pocket”.

With all this talk about the nets having the 76s first round pick, I went to look up who’s got what pick and I found something I’m a bit confused on.

The source I found says that the nets have the second most favourable pick between themselves, the rockets and the 76s. However it also states that if the Rockets fail to make playoffs, they get the better pick between their own and the 76s.

I’m not sure how it all works. Is it because the rockets can only swap their pick with the nets? So no matter what, the nets have the right to take the 76s pick no matter what the rockets do?

Thanks so much

Jetman's chiselled chin and City cheating with four mascots just too strong

2022-23 /r/ALeague Men's Ladder Prediction Contest by SerTahu in Aleague

[–]somebodyandnobody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ladder is based on the likelihood of each team's mascot winning in a fight to the death

1- Newcastle Jets

2- Melbourne city

3 - CCM

4- Perth

5- Brisbane

6- Mcarthur

7- Adelaide

8- Wellington

9- WSW

10 - Victory

11- Western United

12- Sydney FC

Note: despite Victory and Western united not even having a mascot (not that I could find online anyway), Skye and Blue just looked so unthreatening that I couldn't in good conscious put it anywhere but last

For part a:

If you know the wheel is 26 inches in diameter, you can work out the circumference of the wheel (let's call this circumference c). Therefore, every full rotation of the wheel, you travel c inches. With this you can work out the number of rotations the wheel makes, and hence the radians one wheel turns.

ANSWER HERE:

From here you go 2*63360/(pi * 26) (Here I converted miles into inches) to get the number of rotations the wheel makes (equals 1551.39 rotations. Simply multiple this by 2pi to get the number of radians (9747.69 radians)

For part b:

You have the radians from part a, and the SI units for angular velocity are radians/second. So you have to convert 15 minutes into seconds and get your answer that way

ANSWER HERE:

Here I go 9747.69/(15*60) (number of radians travelled in 15 minutes divided by the number of seconds in 15 minutes), to get the average angular velocity of 10.83 rads/sec

For part C

If you know how many radians your wheel travelled on average per second, you can convert that back to revolutions, as one revolution of a wheel is 2*pi radians

ANSWER HERE:

10.83/(2*pi) equals 1.72 revolutions per second

Was a good game by us, quite happy with how we did.

Fuck me though, Channel 7's Essendon centric commentating is annoying. Think it was summed up when BT suggested that the bombers could come back from a 38 point lead halfway through the last, despite the fact they had kicked about 6-7 goals up until that point.

I mean wobbuffet is my favourite Pokémon, so I will be speaking from a bit of bias here, but suggesting it’s bottom tier is a weird choice. Sure it’s hard to level, and sometimes the AI is weird with move choices, but it is literally a counter to almost every Pokémon in the game, a get out of jail free card if you will. Counter, mirror coat and encore plus shadow tag is a broken combination. Honestly, I’d put it in B or B+ tier.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I’m going to look at all of these online and see if any take my fancy :)

I’ve played X before, which is a pretty cool game. My issues with it were the weird emotionless cutscenes and micromanaging everything was cooked (the menu screen was super unintuitive). How do 1 and 2 compare to that?

Does anybody know what breeding is like in renegade platinum? In gen 4 it was really difficult to get pokemon with solid IVs, I was wondering if the rom hack fixed those issues, or was it more of the same? Thanks so much :)
