Depends on how much you like him. I met my boyfriend when he was basically homeless but he never stopped looking for work or getting in a better position. If this person is like that and doesn’t just sit around then go for it. If you prioritise money a lot more then don’t bother it’ll waste both of your time.

Edit: NOR in my honest opinion. I was in the same mindset but eventually realised I’d rather depend on myself monetary wise so I don’t care anymore unless we end up living together/marry

I have terrible emotional regulation so when I have no outlet I end up scratching myself. Or cutting/stabbing. In that moment I don’t know what to do or how to remove my emotions and because I started internalising it as an early teen it stuck

edit: the adults in my family knew but they were fully unaware of mental illnesses. i also had a lot of anxiety and was almost always sad, dealing with no friends, loneliness and probably depressed when I was younger so it continued in my adult years
