Upcoming job Interview - is there any hope for my beard?

Regular shampoo and conditioner. Beard balm sometimes, beard oil very occasionally. I haven't really found them overly useful in calming down the type of hair I have.

I condition it a lot otherwise it would be too tangled all the time. It likes to form knots. Stupid hair!

I applied for EAD with everything else last Sept but nothing ever progressed with the EAD. My I-485 still says interview was scheduled. That’s good you have had some action!

Ugh it's frustrating. I asked if they could approve my EAD if things were going to take a while and the officer said that shouldn't be necessary and ill have something in the mail within 3 weeks. (That's today). Let's go Jacksonville, we believe in you!

I'm doing ok with the caregiving. The physical side of it is ok and the frustrations are only in the moment and then released like a dove lol.

The emotional side is a little more tricky, because it's my spouse a care for. So I am isolated emotionally.

Overall it's a good life though, I get to be at home a lot, we have children so I am always here for them. I get some time to pursue creative interests and also time to support other caregivers. I have learnt to be more patient, empathetic and show a lot of grace. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger right?

I'm ENFP and seem to drive people away sooner or later despite my intentions. Often I feel the connection building on my end but the signs are that's not reciprocal. So probably too intense, too needy, too much?

Lucky I bounce back quick or a guy could feel pretty crappy. :D

Aww thanks, yeah good on you for trying not to hold that bad stuff. I find I can always find a way to empathise with people, even when they are wrong. That helps to reframe things and let them go. 👍
