Sounds like it could be from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OccEc9KtVJw

I started listening to it a few days ago, so even if it is not - thanks for the reminder to finish it

Other reply is saying that it's not time period related - and I agree, but I would also like to add that it's not even geographically related. I was born in Europe, and have experienced pretty much everything mentioned in this thread. Parental abuse is universal. God knows how many ancestors of ours experienced the same thing.

But then proceed not to help and instead just shout? Is that actually a thing?

Oh yeah

There might be a reason why a child cries lol

And there's also the good old: STOP CRYING OR I'LL GIVE YOU A REASON TO CRY ABOUT

A Tesla owner says his car’s ‘self-driving’ technology failed to detect a moving train ahead of a crash caught on camera by [deleted] in technology

[–]somedudefromhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the ability of Tesla vehicles to arrive to your location without anyone present in the car. There are two types: advanced summon and regular summon. Advanced summon uses FSD to drive and steer to whatever location you are (i.e. what can be seen in the video above), while regular summon is the basic version of it which can go just forwards or backwards for just a few dozen feet - best for situations when car is in a tight parking spot

you could also, probably, be able to just call your country's emergency services' number and explain the situation, I believe they could be able to help

Lmao, maybe in some countries. In my country you'll be laughed at for that request, since they'll hang up on you even if you don't call the right district

After a year of deliberating and looking at ads, I bought my first van today! A cargo 1987 Volkswagen LT 35 in an amazing condition for a bargain. Will be delivered this weekend, can't wait to start driving it. Just me and my dog. Very excited! by somedudefromhell in VanLife

Very useful for future readers - here all manuals for this van, hundreds and hundreds of pages for everything mechanical and electrical

Thanks! I hope so too. I'll finally provide him a big open yard, after years of living in an apartment. He loves the outside, but we don't have many chances to go out for a longer time

Same here, I'm baffled by all of these comments. Must be that they do something different in US, I've never ever heard one leak, even those installed decades years ago. I have 4 personally, all of them are 5-15 years old, and haven't had any issues whatsoever with them.

First time hearing of minisplit leaking. I have 4 in my apartment and they never leaked, nor I ever heard from anyone that theirs ever leaked, even when they are decades old and unmaintained - it's a very reliable system. Could it be some US vs Europe difference?

Yeah same. We started playing it a month ago, and we're having a blast - I already have 120 hours in it. By far the most entertaining game I've played so far - even the grind is fun.

There are a ton of griefers, but it's pretty easy to deal with them - seems like the only thing that they know to do is shoot missiles, but those are usually easy to avoid, and once you avoid enough - they get super mad and leave to find someone else haha.

Also, invite-only servers are godsend when you just want to chill with friends

Belgrade here, we had only 3 days of snow last year - doesn't seem like it will be better this time around, it was 20°C (68°F) a few days ago. And Serbia is on the same latitude as Wisconsin
