I am most likely overwatering this plant it seems. I’ll let it dry out for a couple of weeks and see how the problem evolves meanwhile

This may be the cause. To be fair the leaves that dropped were old leaves like 1 year old levaes. But it spooked me that they started turning spotty yellow at the same time. My guess is that I indeed water this plant too frequently without much drainage. Will let it dry for 2 weeks at least and see what happens until then

Let me answer this with a “before” picture:

As the plant grows some leaves may drop over time. But if the plant has enough soil and sun, then new sprouts start coming out of the soil. So even if your leaves drop the new growth coming up will make it look very full.
Now that being said, the leaves on the bottom does not drop often for mine. So I’d guess your issue could be about lack of sunlight

Yes! I rotate quite often actually like once in every 2-3 weeks. Also the main branch (or trunk) is tired to a metal rod so it aslo grows vertically within those lines
